• The NEET Exam for the students who were either COVID-19 Positive or were in containment zones on 13th September 2020 will be conducted on 14th October 2020. Candidates appearing for the exam must have gone through the COVID TEST. In addition, the final result will be then be announced on 16th October 2020. The official notice is further provided below.

• The scanned copies of the NEET 2020 OMR Sheet was uploaded by the authorities. Candidates were allowed to challenge the OMR Sheet till 07th October 2020. In addition, to challenge it, the students had to pay a sum of Rs. 1000/-.

• At the Assam Exam Centres, the attendance was 75-80%. Thus, last-minute changes were done. The sitting plan was changed to ensure that social distancing is followed.
• Note that the NEET Cutoff is expected to be high this year. As the paper was easy as per the last year. The answer key will be out soon. Moreover, proper SOP’s was followed.

• Around 15.97 students have appeared for the Examination. In addition, the students with high temperatures were asked to wait for some time. Whereas, the students who appeared late weren’t allowed to enter the exam hall.
• Note that the Exam Centres gates have been closed after 1:30 PM. The NEET Exam will start from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates have already entered the exam centre. The student’s reaction after the exam will be available here after 5:00 PM. Stay tuned for live updates and exam analysis.
• In Madurai, a protest against NEET Exam is taking place in front of the exam centre. People with banners are sitting on the road protesting against the exam. The police officials are trying to handle the situation. In between, all this, the Education Minister has extended best wishes to all the students taking the exam.
• Note that Body Pat Frisking is done at the centres. It is mandatory for all candidates. The frisking will be done from a distance so that the frisking machine does not physically come in contact with any student. Furthermore, all the other NTA guidelines will be considered to ensure that the exam is conducted in a proper manner.

• The First Batch of the students has entered the Exam Centre at Egmore in Chennai.
• In Delhi, the Exam Centres are sanitized and thermal screening is done. The students are also following social distancing.
• Candidates in Mumbai are following social distancing and queue up to enter the Exam Centre. Moreover, only one parent is allowed with a student at the centre.
• The students have started appearing at the NEET Exam Centres in Kolkata, Chattisgarh, Coimbatore, Bangalore, and Chennai. Candidates are giving mixed reactions as some say that it is just an exam and if they don’t clear this one, then they will try next year. However, one mentions how it is his 1.5 years of hard work.

NEET 2020

NEET stands for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. This a National Level Entrance Exam. The exam takes place for admission in Medical, Dental, and AYUSH Courses. Updates:

• NEET Admit Card 2020 was released on 26th August 2020 in online mode. Candidates had to enter their application number, password, security pin, and DOB to download it. Do not forget to take out 2-3 copies of it.
• NTA had released a notice declaring that all the safety measures will be taken during the examination. The no. of students per exam hall has been reduced from 24 to 12 as well. Latest Changes Made In NEET 2020

The National Testing Agency has made some changes. In addition, applicants should have complete knowledge about the changes made in the application process and exam. Thus, all the changes made in the session are as following –

• The Exam Fee has been revised, the category-wise application fee is mentioned below.
• Now the applicants have to upload Class X Certificate and Postcard size Photo as well.
• Now, there will be a single entrance exam conducted for admission into MBBS Courses. The AIIMS and JIPMER Exam is scrapped from the 2020 academic session. Read details about the Common Entrance Exam for AIIMS/NEET/JIPMER.
• The Entrance Exam will take place offline in one shift. The Counselling will also be common for NEET, AIIMS, and JIPMER.
• The National Testing Agency became the conducting body for NEET and JEE Mains
• 10% Reservation is available for the Economically Weaker Sections. Moreover, 15% of the seats are reserved for scheduled caste (SC) category applicants, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 27% for Other Backward Classes.
• A photograph without a name, date, and white background will not be rejected.
• The Upper Age Limit was removed. Yes, there was no upper age limit for the candidates.
• Around 491 Colleges will accept the NEET Scores. Around 63, 900 seats are available under NEET MBBS 2020 Entrance Exam.
• The NEET scores are valid for 3 years, for the candidates who are willing to study abroad.
• Private, NIOS, and State Open School Candidates are also eligible for the Exam.
• There is no limit for appearing for the exam. Candidates can now appear for the exam as many times. This is applicable to all the categories.

NTA NEET MBBS/BDS 2020 – Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are the most important factor in the process of admission. In fact, the selection of the candidates to move further depends on the eligibility. The NEET 2020 Eligibility Factor comprises of the age criteria, qualifications, reservations, etc. Therefore, it is important to satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Nationality and Age-Criteria

• The Nationality of the Candidate must be Indian/NRI/OCI/ PIOs and Foreign Nationals.
• The minimum age of the candidate must be 17 years as on 31st December 2020.
• There is no upper limit. Thus, Candidates of any age can register for the exam.

Educational Qualifications

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Exam from a recognized Board.
• Other than that, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology must be compulsory. These subjects along with English must be core subjects.
• The Qualifying Marks for UR is 50% and 45% (UR PWD). Whereas, for Reserved Category it is 40%.

Number of Attempts

• Candidates can apply as many times as they want. There is no certain number of attempts.
• The NEET 2020 Scores for the candidates who are willing to study in abroad, will be valid for three years.

NEET 2020 – Application Form

The NEET Application Form 2020 was released on the 2nd of December 2019 online. The last date to submit the form is 31st December 2019. Hence, the candidate can fill the form by visiting the website- ntaneet.nic.in. The NEET NTA Application Form is an important stage in the admission. The form comprises of the Personal, Educational Details of the applicant. Therefore, we advise the applicants to submit the details correctly. However, submitting the wrong details will cause rejection of the form.

How to Fill the NEET UG Application Form?

The NEET Online Form comprises of many stages. Hence, the candidate must complete each and every stage. Thus, the step by step procedure to fill the form is-

Registration

This is the first stage of the application form. You will have to enter basic information about yourself. This includes- Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, E-mail ID, etc. Soon after entering the details, check and submit. After the submission, you will receive a Registration ID and Password. The details will be sent to your contact. This will be a login credential in future cases. Therefore, keep the details safe.

Filling of the Details

Now, after registration, log in using the ID and password. Start filling in the rest of the details. In this section, you will have to enter your marks, exam centre choice, etc. After that, you will have to enter your address and proceed to the next stage.

Uploading Photograph, Signature, and Documents

After entering all the details, upload the documents. The documents include Photograph, Signature, and ID Proof. It must follow the specifications. The documents must be scanned properly. Moreover, make sure that the file size is as per the prescribed specifications. As otherwise, you will not be able to upload the documents. Further, the specifications prescribed by the NTA to be followed are as follows:

1. Passport Size Photo (10kb to 200 kb)
2. Post Card Size Photo (50kb-300kb)
3. Signature (4kb to 30kb)
4. Left-Hand Thumb Impression (10kb to 50kb)
5. Class X Certificate (100 kb to 400kb)

Payment of the Application Fees

Now, after uploading all the documents, make the payment of the form. The application fees are mandatory to pay. However, the mode of payment is online. Therefore, it accepts only Credit/Debit Card and Internet Banking. In addition, the application fees have been revised, thus the NEET 2020 Application Fee for each category is as follows:

• General/Unreserved: INR 1500/-
• General- EWS/ OBC-NCL: INR 1400/-
• SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender: INR 800/-

Further, in case the seats of State Medical Colleges/ Universities/ Institutes/ Private Medical Colleges are filled under 15%. Then, for All India Quota, the reservation policy of the concerned state Govt. shall apply.

NEET Application Form Correction

The NEET Application Form Correction has started. The last date for the modification is 31st January 2020. This facility is available after the application form is over. Candidates can modify or correct the details in the form. However, the link is now available on the NTA Website. Therefore, correct the information as early as possible. So, if there are any mistakes, then you can make corrections.

Mock Test 2020

The Link for the NEET Mock Test 2020 will be available after the Application Form. However, the mock is the dummy of the real exam. This will help you to understand the exam pattern. NEET Entrance Exam Admit Card 2020

The NTA NEET 2020 Hall Ticket will be available online. Candidates can download the admit card from the NTA Website. The NEET Admit Card 2020 will be available on 27th March 2020 (announced). Therefore, you need to download the hall ticket before the exam. The Admit Card is a mandatory document. It contains all the details of the exam and the applicant. NEET Merit List 2020

The State Rank is different from the All India Rank. Soon after the declaration of the result, the result will be sent to the respective State Authorities. A separate State Rank List will be prepared. There will be separate State Counselling for the candidates. Through NEET State Rank 2020 List, candidates can get admission to State Medical and Dental Colleges. Every State releases its own rank list. 85% of NEET MBBS/ BDS Seats are available under State Quota.

NTA NEET Cutoff 2020

The Cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks on the basis for the selection of candidates. Therefore, on the basis of cutoff marks, candidates will get ranks on the merit list. However, the cutoff marks depend on various factors. Some of them are-

• The difficulty level of the exam
• Number of candidates appearing for the exam
• Previous Year Cutoff etc.

Hence, on the basis of these factors, NTA will release the cutoff marks. Also, candidates must note that the NEET State Cutoff Mark will vary. The cutoff marks will vary from state to state. Along with that, candidates who score more than the NEET 2020 Cutoff will be eligible for counselling.

NEET Counselling 2020

This is the last and final stage of the admission process. The NEET Counselling 2020 will take place soon after the result. The Mode of the Counseling Process is Online by mcc.nic.in. Thus, after getting the NEET Score Card, you can register for counselling. The Counselling will take place in three rounds. If the seat remains vacant, then a NEET Mop-Up Round Counselling will take place. Hence, on the basis of qualifying marks, the counseling will be held. However, in the counselling round, you will get three options.

Thus, the process will repeat for every round. However, the seats will be confirmed after admission. Thus, to complete admission, you will have to pay admission fees. The process will continue until all seats are filled.
