NEET Topper’s List 2020 – Highlights

NEET Topper 2020 – AIR and Profile Details

Soon after the declaration of the NEET Result 2020, the National Testing Agency will release the NEET Topper List on 4th June 2020. The Authority will publish the AIR List as per the following categories –

  • List of Top 50 NEET Toppers
  • Top 20 Female NEET Toppers
  • Top Male NEET MBBS and BDS Toppers
  • List of Top PWD (Male/Female) NEET Toppers

Latest Updates and Changes Made by NTA in NEET 2020

Some of the latest changes and updates that are made by the National Testing Agency regarding the NEET Entrance Test are-

  • The NEET 2020 Medical Exam is on 3rd May 2020. The schedule of the exam is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Hence, the exam will take place in one shift only.
  • The last date of the NEET Application Form Correction is 31st January 2020. The Exam Admit Card of NTA NEET will release on 27th March 2020.
  • The NEET Result will release on 4th June 2020. The NEET Toppers List will release along with the Result and NEET Score Card.
  • AIIMS and JIPMER Admission will also take place on the basis of NEET Marks.
  • From now, the Private Students and Open School Candidates are not allowed to take the exam.
  • Candidates will also have to upload their postcard-sized photographs.
  • The National Testing Agency has also made some changes in the NEET Biology Syllabus.
  • The Challan Mode of Payment has been removed by the Officials, but candidates can use UPI to pay the application fees.
  • Hijab, Khara, Kara, and Kirpan are now allowed in the NEET 2020. These candidates have to report the center at least an hour before the exam. Get details about NEET Dress Code 2020.
  • The Application Fees of NEET has been increased for all the category candidates.
  • 15 AIIMS and 2 JIPMER Campus will be participating under MCC, 1205 and 200 seats respectively.
  • All the Candidates are eligible to apply for any State/UT Quota. Thus, candidates can fill any State/UT against the choice.
  • Lastly, an approx of 15,93,452 candidates have registered for the NEET Exam.

NEET Previous Year Topper’s List – Quick Facts

Over 15 Lakh candidates had appeared the NEET 2019 MBBS/BDS Entrance Exam. Here are some of the quick details about the NTA NEET Topper’s List.

  • Nalin Khandelwal from Rajasthan had secured NEET AIR I with 9.9999291 with 701 marks.
  • Second NEET Topper was Bhavik Bansal with AIR II from Delhi.
  • Akshat Kaushik from Delhi was the third topper in NEET 2019.
  • Madhuri Reddy from Telangana had scored AIR 7 with 695 marks.
  • From Physically Handicapped, Sabhyata Singh Kushwaha has scored 610 marks with a percentile score of 99.583416. Her overall rank was in 5739.
  • The second rank from PH Category was Bheraram from Rajasthan with 604 marks with a percentile score of 99.5029612.
  • A total of 7,97,042 candidates had appeared the NEET 2019 Examination, and from Unreserved Category, a total of 704335 candidates had appeared the Medical Entrance Test.

NTA NEET Topper’s Strategy and Motivational Stories

In an Interview, Nalin Khandelwal who is the topper of NEET 2019, said to follow the NCERT and Practice Papers. Keep practicing that. He stayed away for months from Social Media. Nalin did not own a Smartphone as well. He did multiple readings of NCERT Books and solved topic-wise past examination papers.

Similarly, Bhavik Bansal is another topper of NEET and AIIMS MBBS 2019, also suggested to go for solving NEET Previous Papers and Mock Tests. He also said that AIIMS Exams were more challenging than NEET. However, success comes only with pure determination and dedication. Preparation for NEET MBBS and BDS requires a lot of hard work and determination. You need to start your preparation from Day 1. So, here are some NEET Preparation Tips for the candidates who are freshers and droppers.

  • Firstly, make sure that you are thorough with the exam pattern and syllabus. If you are well acquainted with the pattern and syllabus, then your 10% of work is done.
  • Start with the chapters which you find tough. Firstly, start with the respective NCERT Book of the subject.
  • Make your fundamental concepts strong. Target those chapters first, which have a higher weightage.

  • Make Notes and jot down the formulas. Go for NEET Mobile Apps as well. Take short quizzes, this will help you to understand the topics better.
  • Once you are done with the NCERT and other reference books, then start practicing NEET Mock Tests, NEET Sample Papers, and Old Question Papers. This will improve your accuracy to solve the questions.
  • Lastly, maintain a healthy diet. Keep your schedule flexible. Have healthy food and follow a good diet.
