The Official NEET Mock Test is available on the official website of the National Testing Agency (www.nta.ac.in). There are unofficial mock tests available as well on different websites.

Before heading to know about the NEET Mock Test 2020 in details, let’s get to know about the Exam Pattern of NEET 2020.

NEET Exam Pattern 2020

The Examination Pattern of NEET 2020 is as follows-

  1. The Mode of the Examination is Online.
  2. The Total Time Duration of the Examination is 3 Hours
  3. Total Number of Marks is 720 Marks
  4. Total Number Of Questions asked- 180 Questions
  5. Sections of the Exam Paper – 3 (Physics/Chemistry/Biology (Botany and Zoology)
  6. 45 Questions will be available from Physics and Chemistry and 90 Questions from Biology Section.
  7. Each correct answer carries 4 marks and each wrong answer carries a negative marking of -1.
  8. The Syllabus of the Question Paper will be of 11th and 12th Standard Science Subjects Topics.

How to Attempt NEET Mock Test 2020?

The Step by Step Process to attempt NEET 2020 Mock Test is as follows-

  1. Visit the Official Website of the National Testing Agency – www.nta.ac.in
  2. Click on the Mock Test Link
  3. Select the Type of the Exam you want to appear and Enter the required details.
  4. Click on the “Start Mock Test”
  5. Read the General Instructions carefully and accept the terms and conditions.
  6. Start giving the Test now.

List of the General Instructions Before Starting the NEET Mock Test 2020

General Instructions

  • The Total Time Duration of the NEET UG Exam 2020 is 3 Hours.
  • The NEET Exam Sections includes – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
  • A timer is available at the server. The Countdown Timer will be located at the top right section of the screen.
  • When the timer reaches zero, the exam will be stopped automatically. You will not be required to submit or end the exam.
  • The Question Pallets of the Question Paper will be displayed using the following color symbols.
    1. The Grey Indicates that you haven’t visited the question yet.
    2. The Red indicates that the question is not answered
    3. The Green denotes that the question has been answered
    4. The Purple denotes that you have not answered the question yet but has marked for the review.
    5. The Purple with Green symbol indicates that the question is answered and marked for review. This will be considered for evaluation.
  • The symbol “>” is for collapsing the question palette. To view the question again you can click on “<” which appears on the right side of the question window.
  • Click on the “Profile Image” to change the mode of the language of the Question Paper.

How to Navigate a Question in NEET Mock Test?

To Answer any question, perform the following actions –

  1. In the Question Palette, click on the Question Number located at the right side of the screen. Candidates must note that selecting this option will not save your answer to the current position.
  2. Click on the “Save and Next” option to save your answer for the current question.
  3. After saving the option, click on the Next Question.
  4. Click on Mark for Review and Next to save your answer for the current question. Mark it for the review and then go to the next question.

How to Answer the Questions in NEET Mock Test 2020?

  1. To select an answer, click on any one of the options given with the question.
  2. For deselecting the chosen answer, click on the button of the chosen option again and click on the “Clear Response” option.
  3. To Change Your Chosen Answer, click on the button of another option.
  4. For saving your answer, click on “Save and Next” option.
  5. To Review a Question, click on the “Mark and Review Option and Next Button”.

How to Navigate Through the Sections?

  1. The Sections of the Question Paper are available on the top bar of the screen.
  2. Questions in a section can be seen by clicking on the section name. The section which you are currently viewing will be highlighted.
  3. After clicking on the save and next option on the last section, you will be directly taken to the first question of the next section.
  4. You can shuffle the questions and sections anytime as per your convenience.
  5. Candidates can view the corresponding section summery as a part of the legend that appears in every section above the question palette.


  • Candidates must note that the questions will be available in the default language. You can change the language later for a particular question.
  • After going through all the instructions carefully, accept the terms and conditions and click on the proceed button.
  • The National Testing Agency conducts the NEET 2020 Exam. This is an All India Level Entrance Examination that takes place once in a year. The Exam offers admission in various Medical and Dental Colleges of India.
  • You can also download the NEET Mock Test Paper as well from the top section of the screen. The NEET 2020 Mock Test will be available before the date of the entrance examination. The Mock Tests of NEET 2020 will be available online only.
