Benefits Of Conducting The Entrance Test In “Multiple Sessions”
If the NTA engineering joint entrance exam is conducted in multiple sessions, then it benefits the candidates in the following ways-
- It gives multiple opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best in the first attempt without wasting their whole academic year.
- This also reduces the chances of dropping a year. Droppers don’t have to waste their full year.
- In the first attempt, the students get a first-hand experience of taking an examination and will get to know their mistakes which they can improve next time.
- If a student misses the exam due to certain reasons, then he/she do not have to wait for one year.
- The best 2025 NTA Scores is considered for preparing the merit list and ranking.

They will also get an idea about their preparation level indicating the weak and strength zone. Thus accordingly the students will work in their respective areas. It is very easy to get the JEE Main previous year’s question as it is in PDF format. Check Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics question paper. One of the important things which the question papers reflect is the weightage of the chapter with respect to the subject.
JEE Main Mock Test 2025
The National Testing Agency releases the JEE Main Mock test. But what is a Mock test? The mock test will give the candidate an idea of how the real-time exam will look like. It is, in easier terms, “a copy of the real exam”. Since the exam is conducted in the computer-based mode, the mock test helps in practising the test before taking the actual exam. NTA has set up a lot of practice centres of JEE Main mock test 2025 to help the aspirants with their preparation for the examination. Normalization will be done to make sure there is no uneven difficulty level in the exam.

And thus through this rank, the candidates get to know about the institution or college they will get. Many times candidates acquire the same score, so in this type of situation following things are taken into note to rank the candidates.
- If there is a tie then, candidates having more percentile in Mathematics will be preferred.
- The tie still persists then candidates who secure more in Physics will be considered.
- Still, the tie is not gone, then a higher percentile score in Chemistry will be taken into consideration

While filling the JEE-mains form I gave my passport sized picture and the other required stuff..the man who was filling the form told me that the photo must have a white background instead of black as it can create some problems…so is it true that the photo must have white background instead of any other dark colour? Because I haven’t heard about anything yet..

Hi Sir,
Compulsory to appear for both JEE Main paper 1 and paper 2

How many times can i take the JEE Main 2019 Exam from now on?
Hi,
you can now take the JEE Main twice in an academic session which means that for 3 consecutive years from 2019, you can take the exam 6 times.
I completed my 12th in 2016 and I also attempted one time this entrance exam but i failed. Am I attend again this exam
Hi,
Your age criteria allows you to take the JEE Main 2019. But since you have taken 1 attempt in 2016, you cannot take the 2019 JEE Main because 3 attempts are allowed in only 3 consecutive years.
how many attempts will be allowed for a candidate appearing 1st time in jee main exams going to be held during Jan, 2019, whether appearing in Jan. & April exam will be counted as one attempt or two
If you are taking JEE Main 2019 for the first time then you will be eligible to take the JEE Main in 2020 and 2021. Both January and April session will be counted as one attempt.

Kya january a jee main test dene ke liye 12th class ka certificate jaroori hai?
Agar 12th appearing candidate ho toh 12th class details nahi mangi jayengi. Aur agar 12th 2017 ya 2018 mein pass ki hai toh 12th class certificate ki zaroorat hogi.
I have given JEE Main Exam two times can i take both the exams from now on
Considering the previous years’ eligibility criteria where the number of maximum attempts was 3, you can take the JEE Main 2019 January and April exam as both taken together will be counted as one attempt.
Are you sure because I read the whole brochure of NTA 2019 but couldn’t find any column of the number of attempts?
Hey Aafan, NTA has stated in the information brochure that there is no age limit for JEE Main 2019 but you need to fulfill the criteria that you have passed Class 12th in 2017 or 2018 or you are currently studying in class 12th i.e in 2019.
Therefore for 2017 candidates, the number of remaining attempts will be 2, for 2018 candidates the number of remaining attempts are 4 and for 2019 candidates there will be 6 attempts.
Hope this solves your query.
