  • And lastly, the trends in previous years cutoff.

IIT Goa

Indian Institute of Technology Goa, commonly known as IIT Goa is an autonomous institute of engineering and technology. It was established in 2016 and started operating from its temporary campus at Goa Engineering College (GEC) which is located at Farmagudi, Goa. The institute is mentored by IIT Bombay. IIT Goa admits aspirants in three disciplines of 4-year B.Tech course and they are:

  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering

Admission Process of the Institute

Applicants willing to take admission in the Indian Institute of Technology located at Goa must fulfill any of the following conditions apart from meeting the prescribed IIT Goa cutoff:

  • The candidate must have qualified JEE Main first and then he/she must take JEE Advanced and obtain a valid rank. Based on this rank, the admission authority grants admission through counselling of JoSAA.
  • General category applicants who have secured 75% in class 12th are eligible for admission. While SC/ST/PwD category applicants who have secured 65% are eligible.
  • The desiring aspirant must be one of the top 20 percentiles of class 12th board exams.
