Candidates need to check the JEE Main Registration Fee amount which has to be paid in online mode only. Amount to be paid as JEE Main 2021 application form fee depends on the following factors:

  • Gender of the candidates (Male/Female)
  • Category of the applicant
  • Choice of the examination centre

The candidates must check the status of JEE Main form fee payment at the NTA website by entering valid login credentials and if the status is ‘OK’ the candidate will be able to take the printout of the Acknowledgement Page.

What to do if the payment status shows “not OK”?

JEE Main 2021 Form Fee: In case, the JEE Main Form fee payment status is not ‘OK’ the candidates are advised to do as following:-

  • If the JEE Main application fee is paid through Debit card/Credit card/Net banking/UPI/PAYTM and status is not OK, it means the transaction is cancelled and the amount will, automatically, be refunded to the concerned account within 15 days. Therefore, such candidates have to pay the fee once again and ensure the “OK” fee status.

Question- When will JEE Main Registration 2021 start?
Ans- The JEE Main 2021 is expected to take place four times a year. However, the registration for February 2021 will start in the third week of December 2020.

Question- When will the application window apply for JEE Main 2021 be available?

Ans- Yes, the fees will be refunded. But for this, the candidate will have to make a request only during the application process of the session for which he/she wants to withdraw.

Ans- In such case, if your payment is failed then, try to make the payment once again through Netbanking or Credit or Debit Card. The amount will be refunded back within 48 hours duration.

    Make payment again and the deducted amount will be credited in your account within a few days

  2. is a second year eligible for this exam?the critireas stated nothing about it so I had my doubts on whether a secons year was elligible for this

    • The JEE Main application fee for OBC candidates is Rs. 500 if you have opted for Paper 1 or 2 and chosen an exam center in India.
      If you have applied for both Paper 1 and 2 and chosen an exam center in India, then you have to Pay Rs. 900.
