HP NEET MBBS Admission Eligibility Criteria 2020
The Eligibility Criteria is the most important factor for any admission process. Hence, the University of Himachal Pradesh has set some rules and conditions for the eligibility criteria. The conditions include your age factor, educational qualifications, and other details. So, if you satisfy the eligibility criteria of HPU MBBS/BDS Admission, then you are eligible for the further process.
- The Nationality of the Candidate must be Indian.
- The minimum and maximum age of the candidate must be Indian as of 31st December of the admission year.
- Candidates should have born on or after 7th May 1993.
- Bonafide candidates of Himachal Pradesh whose parents have been posted outside under All India Services are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates must be a domicile of Himachal Pradesh, but in the case of Management Quota Admission, candidates outside Himachal Pradesh are also eligible to apply.
- The Applicants must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as subjects from a recognized Board.
- Students from NIOS/Open Board are also eligible to apply for Himachal Pradesh MBBS 2020 Admission.
- Candidates must have passed all the individual subjects with a minimum percentage of 50% for General Category, 45% for Physical Handicapped (unreserved), and 40% for Reserved Category.
- The Candidates must have secured a minimum percentile in the NEET MBBS Exam 2020.

HP MBBS/BDS Application Form 2020
The HP MBBS Application Form will be released in online mode and thus will be available on the official website. Only the students who will submit the form on time will be eligible for admission. In addition, the application process comprises of certain stages. Thus, the students need to go through the below-mentioned steps to successfully submit the form.
Registration Process
This is the first stage of filling the application form. Candidates who have to register themselves by submitting their basic details- Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mobile Number, and E-mail ID. A Registration Number and Password will be generated and is sent to your registered mobile number and e-mail id.
Fill in Academic Details
Using the Login Credentials, login, and fill in all the academic and education qualification details. Enter all the details carefully.
Upload Photograph and Signature
After entering the required details, upload your photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned.
Payment of the Application Fees
Now pay the application fees. Application Fees can be paid both online/offline. Online Mode includes- Debit Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking.
Submission of the Application Form
After filling in all the details and making the payment, recheck, and submit the details. Take a printout of the Application Form and save it for future reference.

The Application Fees for General Category/NRI/OBC Category is Rs 1800/- and the application fees for SC/ST/ BPL/PH is Rs 900/-. Candidates can make the payment online as well as offline.

Himachal Pradesh MBBS Merit List 2020
On the basis of the NEET Scores, candidates will have their names on the Merit List. The HP NEET 2020 Merit List will have the names of those candidates who have qualified NEET along with the HP MBBS Cutoff Marks. The ranks of the candidates will be done in descending order. The HP MBBS and BDS Merit List will be available online on its official website – www.hpushimla.in. Hence, the Himachal Pradesh MBBS Admission will be only on the basis of the names present on the Merit List.
Himachal Pradesh MBBS Counselling 2020
Himachal Pradesh MBBS and BDS Counselling will take place soon after the release of the Merit List. The Mode of the Counselling will take place online. Candidates whose name is on the Merit List will be eligible for the counselling. However, the HP NEET MBBS Counselling, candidates have to register themselves and provide details about the colleges, courses, marks, etc. There will be two rounds of counselling, followed by a Mop-Up Round Counselling. After the filling of the form, a merit list will be published. Shortlisted candidates will have to visit the venue for the document verification.
HP NEET Document Verification 2020
Candidates who are shortlisted in the counseling round will be called for a Document Verification Process. The Verification process is completely held offline. In the Document Verification Process, candidates have to produce their Identification Documents and Educational Qualification Certificates. Candidates who failed to produce any of the following listed documents will be disqualified from Himachal Pradesh MBBS/ BDS Admission.
Himachal Pradesh MBBS BDS Seat Reservation 2020
The Seat Procedure System of HP MBBS BDS is different than other Government/Private Dental and Medical Institutions. The Government and Medical Colleges have 85% Seats Reserved under State Quota and the Private Medical/Dental Colleges are equally divided among the State and Management Quota (50% each).
