Eligibility Criteria of DME MBBS Admission 2020
In order to fill in the application form, you must satisfy the eligibility criteria for Assam NEET MBBS/BDS Admission 2020. These are the eligibility conditions which must be satisfied by all the applicants. If any of the students will found to be ineligible then their admission will be canceled. The eligibility criteria is further as follows:
- Firstly, the Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The Minimum Age of the candidate must be 17 years as on 31st December 2020.
- Candidates must have passed Class 12th with subjects – English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- The students who belong to Unreserved Category have to score 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and 50% for the candidates who belong to the Reserved Category.
- Candidates or Candidates Parent’s must be a permanent resident of Assam State for at least 20 years.
- The Applicants should be medically fit and must qualify NEET 2020.
- Lastly, the Candidate must have studied from Class VII to XII from the schools of Assam State.

Assam MBBS 2020 Application Form
The Application Form of Assam MBBS 2020 will be available on its official website of DME- dme.assam.gov.in. Candidates who have qualified NEET 2020 are eligible to fill in the application form of Assam MBBS. The Assam NEET Registration Form has to be downloaded from the official website and filled offline. The form has to submitted offline during counselling. Candidates who fail to attend the counselling will be disqualified from the Admission Procedure 2020. Hence, the application form will be available online but has to be filled and submitted offline.

Assam MBBS Merit List 2020
The Directorate of Medical Education has published the DME Assam NEET UG Merit List 2020. However, the merit list is available for 85% State Quota Seats. The Merit List includes the names of the candidates who are eligible for the counselling round. The rank list will be available in pdf format so that it can be easy to download for the candidates. Further, students will be ranked in order of merit as per their scores in the NEET Exam. The students may not receive any notification regarding the release of the rank list. Hence, do check the concerned websites frequently for updates.
Assam MBBS Counselling 2020
Assam MBBS Counselling Round is conducted offline and there will be two rounds of counselling that will take place on July/August 2020. However, at the time of counseling, candidates must submit their documents and application form. The authorities will verify the documents and allot seats to the candidates on the basis of merit-cum-preference. The Counselling Round will be available for both Government and Private Colleges. 85% of seats are allotted on State Quota and 15% of seats are allotted at All India Quota.
A Counseling Fee of Rs 500/- is charged at the time of counselling. However, candidates have to be physically present in order to attend the counselling. The waitlisted candidates can attend the second round of counselling. Lastly, if the seats are left vacant then an Assam MBBS Mop-Up Round will take place.

Assam MBBS Document Verification 2020
Assam MBBS 2020 Document Verification will take place soon after the NEET Result Declaration. However, the Document Verification Round will take place offline. In the Document Verification Round, candidates have to produce their Identity Proof Documents and Educational Qualification Certificates to the Examination Authority. After the Verification of the documents, candidates will be allotted seats based on their merit. Thus, Assam NEET Document Verification is the last stage of the admission process.

The Seat Allotment Result of Assam MBBS Admission will be available online on the official website. On the basis of the NEET Scores and the choices, the applicants will get admission in the colleges. Lastly, the candidates have to report the allotted college and pay the rest of the admission fees and complete the admission procedure.
