Kerala MBBS Counselling 2019 is held by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala. Kerala MBBS Stray Vacancy Round has been released. Candidates have to report college between 17th and 18th August 2019. The Counselling Round is conducted online in four rounds including a Trial Allotment Result and a Mop-Up Round. The Mop-Up Round dates have been announced. However, the KEAM University had started the Third Allotment Round, for the AYUSH Courses. The last day to report the college for Round II Selected Candidates is 5th August 2019. The Counselling Round is held in KEAM Portal through CEE. Candidates whose name have been shortlisted in the Kerala MBBS Merit List 2019 will be eligible to attend the Kerala MBBS/BDS 2019 Counselling Round. The First Round of Counselling of Kerala MBBS 2019 was held on 8th July 2019.

Kerala MBBS/BDS 2019 Counselling Round

Kerala MBBS Counselling 2019 takes place online. The Counselling Program is conducted by the Commissioner of Central Examination, Kerala on KEAM Portal. The Procedure had started from 16th June 2019 onwards soon after the declaration of the Kerala MBBS Merit List 2019. KEAM Kerala MBBS 2019 Counselling is a four-round process including the Trial Allotment Result and Mop-Up Round. Candidates based on their NEET 2019 UG Scores will be eligible to participate in the counselling round.

In the Kerala MBBS Counselling, candidates have to fill in their choices of colleges and courses according to their preferences. Hence, Based on the availability of the seats in the colleges, candidates get seats for admission. So, All you have to do is lock your choices before the deadline date.

Kerala MBBS Counselling 2019 Result

Once you have locked in the choices of your preferred college and course, after a few days the CEE will publish a Kerala MBBS Counselling Result online. The Result denotes the selection of the candidates to allotted college along with the preferred course. The Counselling result will be available for each counselling round. Based on the result, you will have to report the allotted college along with the documents that have been mentioned.

KEAM Kerala MBBS Counselling Procedure 2019

Many of the candidates have been now bothering about what and how to appear the Counselling round. Well, the Kerala MBBS Counselling 2019 is a very easy process. The complete process of Counselling takes place online. It is advised to select the colleges carefully as once you have locked the choices, cannot be changed further.

The Step By Step Procedure to perform Kerala MBBS Counselling 2019 is as follows-

Step I – Login

Visit the Official Website of CEE, Kerala. Click on the Candidate Login Portal Link. Log in using the credentials (Application Number and Password).

Step-II Option for Registration Page

In this step, candidates are advised to create a unique password. Click on the “Option Registration” Link and create. It is advised to change the Password frequently and keep it safe.

Step-III Choice Filling and Locking Process

In this page, you can see a list of Medical and Dental Colleges. These colleges are denoted by a two-letter code. You can also see the number of seats available in the particular institute. Select the choice of college based on your priority. Click on “Save” option after every selection. The options will be locked automatically once the stipulated time is over. Candidates are advised to rearrange or modify their choices before the closing date.

 Kerala MBBS Counselling 2019 Rounds

There will a total of Four Round of Counselling for admission in Kerala MBBS/BDS Colleges. The Counselling Rounds are as follows-

Trial Allotment Counselling Round

The Authorities will conduct a Trial Allotment Counselling Result Session before the scheduled time of choice locking is over. This session will give an idea about the chances of getting the colleges and courses according to the NEET 2019 Scores and your preferences. Candidates must note that these are not the exact result that is displayed but this will help the candidates to understand the preferences according to their score. The First Round of Counselling will be held in June 2019.

First Round of Counselling

The First Round of Counselling will be held in June 2019. The Online Option Entry for Counselling can be done by logging in using the Application Number and Password in the Candidate Portal. Candidates who will be allotted a seat in Kerala MBBS Counselling 2019 will have to report the allotted college and pay the admission fees within the stipulated time period. If the admission procedure is not done within the given period of time, then the existing allotment will be lost.

Second Round of Counselling

If you have not been allotted any seat in the first round, then you can appear in the second round of counselling. The procedure for Kerala MBBS Second Round Counselling 2019 is also the same. Candidates have to log in the Candidate Login Portal and select the college preferences and report the college after a seat is allotted. To complete the admission procedure, candidates have to pay the application fees. The Second Round of Counselling is to be held in July 2019.

Mop-Up Round of Counselling

The Kerala MBBS/BDS 2019 Mop-Up Round Counselling is conducted if the seats are left vacant after the first and second round of counselling. The Mop-Up Round is expected to be held in August/September 2019.

Reasons for Conducting Kerala MBBS Counselling 2019

The Mop-Up Round is basically done when all the counselling rounds are completed. It is for filling all the vacant seats that have been left out after the rounds. Sometimes, the students leave their seats due to some reasons and the seats become vacant. The Mop-Up Round Counselling held for Kerala MBBS/BDS Admission 2019 is conducted online. The wait-listed candidate will be allotted seats based on their NEET 2019 Scores and availability of seats.

The Kerala MBBS Counselling 2019 will be held Online on KEAM Portal through CEE. Candidates whose name is shortlisted on the merit list will be able to attend the counselling round. For the candidates who did not get a seat in the First and Second Round can attend the Mop-Up Round which is conducted if any seats are remained vacant.
