JIPMER Eligibility Criteria 2020

Nationality

  • The Nationality of the Candidate must be Indian/OCI/NRI Nationals.
  • Candidates who belong to OCI/NRI Category have to upload certain documents while filling the application form.
  • The NRI and OCI Category Candidates will be considered as “Unreserved” category candidates and for unreserved seats.

Age-Limit

  • The minimum age of the candidate must be 17 years as on or before 31st December 2020.
  • There is no upper age limit condition for applying for the Entrance Examination
  • There is no relaxation in the lower age limit given to any candidate under any circumstances.

Educational Qualifications/ Academic Requirements

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12th Examination with the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects. They should have these subjects in the last two years of study.
  • Candidates who are OCI/NRI have to submit an eligibility certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
  • The Applicants have to score a minimum of 60% marks (for General Category), 50% for Reserved Category, and PWD Candidates.

  • If the Candidate class 12th Result is not released before the availability of the application form, then candidates can fill the form saying that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. They will be considered eligible once the result is declared.
  • Only those candidates will receive the admit card who satisfy the eligibility conditions of JIPMER 2020.

Note: You also must note that the candidates who are appearing or will appear the qualifying exam are also eligible for the JIPMER 2020 Entrance Exam. Also, if in case you do not satisfy the eligibility criteria, then the candidature of the candidate will be canceled.

JIPMER 2020 Merit List

Soon after the completion of the Entrance Exam, the Institute will release the Merit List, which will comprise of the qualification status of the candidate. The Merit List will be available online on the official website. So, if your name is on the JIPMER NEET Merit List 2020, then you will be eligible for the Counselling Round of JIPMER. It will further be released in PDF format, thus you will face no difficulty while downloading it. This list helps authorities in segregating students on the basis of merit. Hence, with the help of this list, officials can easily carry out further admission processes.

JIPMER/ NEET 2020 CutOff

The JIPMER Cutoff 2020 will indicate the minimum qualifying marks, which each candidate must score for being eligible to get admission. In addition, the cutoff list will be released soon after the result declaration. Moreover, the authorities may release the cutoff list category-wise. JIPMER MBBS Counselling 2020

JIPMER 2020 Counselling is the last and final round of the admission procedure. It will take place soon after the release of the merit list. It is compulsory for all merit students to appear for these students. The students failing to appear for counseling will lose out their seats to other deserving candidates. Moreover, the counselling can be conducted in offline mode. Thus, the date, time, and venue details of counselling will be present on the official website. Candidates further need to carry a set of documents for the verification process. Furthermore, the procedure of seat allotment will be carried out on the same day.
