In order to participate in the exam, it is necessary for the applicant to satisfy the eligibility conditions as prescribed by the exam conducting body. Every year GSEB conducts the GUJCET exam to select the students for engineering and medical courses. The important guidelines are:
- Candidates must be Indian and have a Gujarat domicile
- The minimum age of the candidates must be 17 years or above
- Candidates should have completed a 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from CBSE, ICSE, or Gujarat State Board.
- Candidates who are going to appear for the 2025 board exam can also apply for the GUJCET 2025.
- General Candidates need to have at least 45% on the 12th board and the reserved category needs 40% to fill the form.
- Must have PCM/ PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology) as the main subject in 12th class.

GUJCET 2025 Reservation Policy
Candidates belonging to the reserved category have the advantage over the minimum marks requirement and on GUJCET seats. Reserved candidates have to show the community certificate in order to claim the reservation. In addition, a percentage of seats are reserved for reserved category students. GUJCET Application Form 2025
Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) releases the application form in online mode. GUJCET 2025 Application Form has to be submitted on or before the due date. However, after that, the form can be submitted with an additional fee of INR 1,200. The application procedure includes Registration, Payment of Application Fee, Filling the Form, Uploading Documents, and taking out a printout of the filled form.
