AIIMS Nursing Admit Card(HallTicket) 2018

The admit card of AIIMS Nursing 2018 (B.Sc Hons.) is now available for downloading. The official authority has released the admit card on 8th June 2018 in online mode. Candidate can view and download AIIMS Nursing admit card by clicking on the link given below. Admit card is the most important document that must be carried on the examination day. Candidate without admit card will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Admit card contains information like name, roll number, examination day, time and venue, photo and signature uploaded at the time of filling application form etc.

Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS Nursing 2018 B.Sc(Hons.) Exam

Aspirants who are willing to apply for the AIIMS Nursin B.Sc(Hons.) 2018 exam must fulfill all the eligibility conditions issued by the authority. If the Candidates do not satisfy the eligibility criteria, then they will not be permitted to sit for the exam. So, applicants must check the AIIMS Nursing 2018 eligibility criteria and norms once before the online application submission.

Following are the main eligibility criteria related to age, citizenship, qualifying examination, qualifying marks, domicile, subject combination

Particulars Eligibility Criteria
Nationality Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age Candidate has attained or will attain the age of 17 years as on the 31st December of the year of admission 2018. Candidates born after 2nd January 2002 are not eligible to apply.
Academic Qualification Candidate must have passed class 12th under the 10+2 scheme/senior school certificate examination or intermediate science or an equivalent examination from a recognized university/board of any Indian state with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Candidate must have secured 55% (aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) for general/OBC (50% in case of SC/ST categories) in 10+2 or equivalent examination.

Gender Eligibility Only female candidates are eligible.
NOTE 1: Candidate who are to appear in the 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination in March/April 2018 and whose results are likely to be declared before 30th June 2018 are also eligible to apply.

NOTE 2: Candidates who are due to appear at the qualifying examination, or have already appeared and are awaiting result, can also apply for admission. But such candidates must furnish proof of passing the qualifying examination with requisite percentage of marks and subjects at the time of Counselling failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Eligibility Criteria for Foreign nationals

Foreign nationals are admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi only. The eligibility criteria for foreign candidate will be at par with the eligibility criteria for Indian candidate. However, foreign nationals candidates are exempted from appearing in the entrance examination. Their admission will be made on the basis of marks/grades secured by them in the qualifying examination. The foreign nationals candidates are also required to fill in the registration form prescribed by the Institute for this purpose. The registration from should be routed through Diplomatic Channel. Applications received directly will not be entertained.

For Overseas citizen of India (OCI) :- Eligible for admission to all seven AIIMS

OCI registered under section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 are also eligible to appear in this test and all terms and conditions applicable for Indian nationals given in this prospectus will be applicable to them. The candidate will submit proof of Registration as OCI under section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 to be eligible to appear to this test.

AIIMS Nursing Application Form 2018 for B.Sc Hons.

The application form of AIIMS Nursing (B.Sc Hons.) 2018 is released on 23rd March 2018. All of the candidates will have to fill and submit the application form by April 12, 2018. Exam Centers for AIIMS Nursing (B.Sc.) 2018

AIIMS Nursing (B.Sc Hons.) 2018 exam will be conducted in around 11 exam centers across the states of India. The candidates will be asked to select their preferred center from the listed exam centers while filling up the online application form for participation in the entrance exam. AIIMS Nursing Result (B.Sc Hons) 2018

AIIMS Nursing Result 2018 will be declared on 29th June 2018 for Nursing B.Sc (Hons.). All appeared students can check their AIIMS Nursing 2018 Result by visiting the official website. Students will be called for the Counselling on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam. The name of the shortlisted candidate’s list will be published on the official site. Candidates will also inform through email/SMS in the registered email Id and Mobile number. No separate call letter will be sent to the candidates by post.

Cut-Off for AIIMS Nursing (B.Sc Hons.) 2018

After few days of the publication of AIIMS Nursing 2018 result on 22nd June 2018,  AIIMS will upload the cut-off marks on their official website. Candidates have to score above or equal to the cut-off marks to qualify for Counselling round. Candidates will get admission to AIIMS on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test. AIIMS Nursing Cut Off 2018 depend on factors like the number of applicants appeared in the exam, highest and lowest marks obtained by the candidates etc.

AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Counselling 2018

Counselling for AIIMS Nursing 2018 B.Sc (Hons) will start from 9th July 2018 onwards. Two main rounds of Counselling will take place and if required, an open Counselling will be also held to fill the vacant seats. For Nursing B.Sc (Hons) course, the number of candidates called for Counselling will be 4 times the number of seats advertised for various categories. The order of Counselling will be General/OBC/ST/SC.

When all seats of the unreserved category are finished then only Counselling for reserved seats will be done. The Counselling will be done strictly by combined merit list starting from Rank 1. The candidates in order of merit will exercise their choice of subject according to availability of seats. The admission of qualified candidates to one of the seven AIIMS is purely based on her rank obtained in the entrance examination.

Seat Reservation of AIIMS Nursing (B.Sc Hons.) 2018

There are total 77 seats in AIIMS New Delhi and 60 seats each in other six AIIMS. There are definite number of seats reserved by the examination conducting authority in all the AIIMS for candidates belonging to special categories like SC/ST/OBC etc. Following table shows the percentage of seats reserved for each category in all the seven AIIMS for Nursing (B.Sc Hons.) 2018

NOTE 1:- If requisite number of suitable candidates is not available to fill up the seats reserved for the scheduled castes, the same will be filled by candidates belonging to the scheduled tribes and vice-versa.

NOTE 2:- In case suitable candidates are not available from the two reserved categories, the vacant seats will be filled up the candidates form the general category.

NOTE 3:- For Indian nationals, 3% reservation for orthopaedic physically handicapped shall be provided on horizontal basis, in the seats reserved.

NOTE 4:- 5 seats are reserved for foreign nationals at AIIMS New Delhi only.

Medical Examination for AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2018

The candidate selected for admission in on one of the seven AIIMS will have to undergo medical examination by a Medical Board consisting of faculty members of the Institute. If, in the assessment of Medical Board, a candidate if found medically unfit, she will not be admitted. The decision of the Board shall be final. In that case, in her  place, next candidate in order of merit will be admitted

FAQ about AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2018

Can I modify my choices of city/centre of examination after completion of last date?

No, the city/centre of examination once chosen and allotted will not be changed and no requests in this regard will be entertained.

What are the documents required to be uploaded with my application?

No documents are required to be uploaded during the online registration /application process, but you have to upload images of your photograph, left thumb impression and signature at the time of registration.

How many candidates will be called for 1st Round of Counselling?

In each category i.e. UR, OBC, SC and ST, the total number of candidates to be called for Counselling will be four (4) times the number of seats available in each category.

What is the process of 2nd round of Counselling?

The 2nd round of Counselling is for the allotment of vacant seats available after the 1st round of Counselling, and for the change of Institute allotted in the 1st round of Counselling.

Are the original certificates/documents required during 2nd round of Counselling?

Yes, candidates have to furnish original certificates and documents that were produced during the 1st round of Counselling. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the1st round of Counselling must bring the certificate of depositing documents during the 2nd round of Counselling.
