Tamil Nadu MBBS Application Form 2019: Directorate of Medical Education (DME) will be releasing the annual Tamil Nadu MBBS Application Form for the academic admission counselling of 2019 session. Candidates, who are interested in pursuing the medical/dental under graduate programme under the state quota of Tamil Nadu, can start applying, provisionally, from the 2nd week of June 2019. Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 Application Form Dates
Directorate of Medical Education (DME) will be opening the registration window, tentatively, during the 2nd week of June 2019. Candidates, who are eligible, can apply for the same online from the official website of DME. The complete schedule for Admission registration is as follows.

Steps to Register for Tamil Nadu MBBS Admission 2019
Application Submission for Tamil Nadu MBBS admission involves creating a user profile, downloading the application form, application form fill up, document uploading, and application fee payment. Candidates who are interested in applying can simply follow these steps.
Step 1: Download the Application Form
Candidates are required to download the application form from the official website of DME Tamil Nadu. Take a print of the form. The download link will be activated during the second week of June 2019.
Step 2: Application Form fill up
After downloading the application form, candidates are supposed to fill up the application form in writing. The application form details are to be filled in neatly and in block letters. Mark correctly at the places where codes are required.
Step 3: Application fee payment
The application form will be paid offline. Candidates are required to draw a demand draft in favor of ‘The secretary, selection committee, Kilpauk, Chennai’. The application form is to be delivered in along with the application form. The application fee for all candidates will be INR 500, and the amount paid will be non-refundable.
Step 4: Final Submission
The application form is to be submitted via post, and candidates will have to tag along with 3 envelopes. The post is to be titled ‘Application for MBBS/BDS Admission 20YY.’ Documents that are to be sent along with the post are as follows.

Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling in the application form, candidates must make sure they meet the eligibility requirements set forth by the admission conducting committee. The eligibility criteria are an important detail that candidates must make sure that they follow. The Eligibility Criteria is as follows.

|1||Nationality||Candidates must be a citizen of India. Other than that, the candidate who holds an Overseas Citizen of India Card can also apply.|
|2||Domicile Factor||Candidates seeking admissions for the medical programmes must satisfy the domicile criteria of Tamil Nadu, i.e. students with either roots in Tamil Nadu, who have spent considerable amount of years in the state of Tamil Nadu, and has done their schooling from Tamil Nadu will be considered eligible.
Candidates who are not a domicile of Tamil Nadu are only eligible for private management quota.
|3||Age Factor||The minimum age required to apply for Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 admissions is 17th years.
The age limit will be 25 years for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories.
There will be an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST categories, i.e. SC/ST candidates can apply till 30 years of age.
|4||Qualifying Examination||Qualifying examination will be National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) according to the new notifications released by MHRD and Tamil Nadu state government.
Other than that, candidates must have passed 10+2 from State Board of Tamil Nadu or equivalent.
|5||Qualifying Subjects||Candidates who have studied 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology are eligible for seek admission. Other than that, proficiency in English will be considered desirable.|
|6||Qualifying Marks/Percentage||Candidates must have cleared 10+2 examination with a combined aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
There will be relaxation of 5 percent for physically handicapped students,
A relaxation of 10 percent will be given to candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST categories
