Eligibility Requirement for St.Xavier’s College

College provides a variety of subjects to its students. Different courses have different eligibility requirements. Some courses have entrance exams and merit while some solely depend on merit basis. The basic requirement for entering into the application procedure is to clear the Higher Secondary Examination. This is applicable for U.G courses. For P.G Courses, one has to complete the 10+2+3 pattern of study. Reservation of seats is there as per the govt of Maharashtra. Christian students separately get the relaxation in marks.

Thus, as per the seat availability and category, students are allotted in the courses as per the subject. Just by its name, it creates a wave among the students every year.   • For BA course, 50% seats are reserved for minority Christian students and management quota
  • For B.Com and B.Sc courses, 43% of seats are reserved for Christian Minority and 15% for Management Quota
  • The application process for BA and B.Sc is online
  • The application process for B.Com is through offline mode, i.e., by filling up and submitting a form, and through an interview with the Vice Principal of the Commerce section
