TISSNET Result 2020: The TISS Entrance Test Result has been released the Final List of candidates for the Personal Interview March-April 2020. The Examination Council of Tata Institute of Social Sciences has published the MA Entrance Result on February 04, 2020. Therefore, candidates can check their results from the direct link given in the latest updates section. Tata Institute of Social Science has declared the TISSNET result online on its official website at admissions.tiss.edu.in on 4th February 2020. Candidates, in order to view their result, should visit the official website of TISS Mumbai. They can access their result by logging in with their registered email id and password.

The Result of TISSNET 2020 will be released in the form of a scorecard. It will contain a candidate’s sectional score, overall score, and rank. Based on the candidate’s score, he/she will be shortlisted and called for the pre-interview test, group discussion followed by personal interview(PIT/GD/PI). The final list of TISSNET Merit List 2020 selected candidates will, therefore, be released in May/April 2020. Steps To Access Result of TISSNET 2020

Candidates can access the TISSNET Result after taking the TISSNET exam. The scorecard of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences will be subsequently declared on the university’s website. In order to check the TISSNET MA Result, candidates can further follow the instructions mentioned below:

TISSNET Cut off 2020

After the TISSNET Marksheet, Tata school of social sciences releases the cut-off. The cut off is the minimum marks a candidate has to score in order to qualify the exam. Looking back at the previous year’s cut off, candidates can estimate the cut off of 2020. Therefore, they can evaluate their chances of getting admission in the current year. Candidates can access the TISSNET Cut Off 2020 by visiting the Institute’s official website (tiss.edu). Candidates whose marks do not meet the required cut off will not be eligible to appear in further rounds of TISSNET 2020.

What After The Result of TISSNET?

On the basis of the candidate’s performance in TISSNET 2020, he/she will either be shortlisted or rejected. The final selection of candidates will further be based on two rounds, consisting of 3 components. The shortlisted candidates will subsequently get a chance to appear for the pre-interview test, group discussion and personal interview(PIT/PI). Tie-Breaker In TISSNET 2020

In situations where the score of two different candidates sums up to be the same, then the tie-breaker criteria are used to shortlist a particular candidate. This criterion involves the comparison of the scores of the candidates on different levels of the TISSNET Exam. Therefore, the tie-breaker criteria are used in the following ways mentioned below:

  • Primarily, the personal interview marks of the candidate are compared.
  • If the marks of the personal interview come out to be the same, then the pre-interview marks are compared.
  • If the pre-interview marks are also the same, then the NET score of both the candidates is compared.
  • When the NET score also sums up exactly the same, then the candidate older in age is given preference over the younger one.
