Tata Institute of Social Science will declare the TISSNET result in the late evening hours in the month of February 2020. Candidates, in order to view their result, should visit the official website of TISS Mumbai. They can access their result by logging in with their registered email id and password. The result of TISSNET 2020 will be released in the form of a scorecard. It will contain candidate’s sectional score, overall score and rank. Based on the candidate’s score, he/she will be shortlisted and called for the pre-interview test, group discussion followed by personal interview(PIT/GD/PI). TISSNET Cut off 2020

Tie-Breaker In TISSNET 2020

In situations where the score of two different candidates sums up to be the same, then the tie-breaker criteria are used to shortlist a particular candidate. This criterion involves the comparison of the scores of the candidates on different levels of the TISSNET exam. Therefore, the tie-breaker criteria are used in the following ways mentioned below:

  • Primarily, the personal interview marks of the candidate are compared.
  • If the marks of the personal interview come out to be the same, then the pre-interview marks are compared.
  • If the pre-interview marks are also the same, then the NET score of both the candidates is compared.
  • When the NET score also sums up exactly the same, then the candidate older in age is given preference over the younger one.
