NEET Question Paper Format 2020
During the preparation process, it is important to understand the format of the question paper. It will help in preparing a plan to study. Further, the candidates should have an idea about the mode of paper, medium of language, total questions and marks the paper carries. Mode of the Examination
The NEET Examination is conducted offline which is pen-paper based. Last year, as well the exam was conducted offline. The NEET Entrance Exam will take place in May 2020, and the result will be announced in the month of June 2020. In addition, the dates have been revised due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.
Number of Shifts
The Exam will take place in only one shift. The Examination will take place in the afternoon session. Moreover, exam centre address and exam details will be present on your admit card.
Time Duration of the Exam
The Total Time Duration of the Exam is 3 Hours. Candidates have to reach the Examination Center before the Reporting Time. The candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall before the completion of 3 hours of the exam.
The medium of the examination
Apart from English and Hindi Language, the Questions will be available in Regional Languages as well. The Exam Paper is available in the following languages-

The format of the Questions
The questions are asked in the Multiple Choice Format. That means the questions are objective type based. The question will be available with four options out of which one option will be correct.
Number of Sections
The Exam Paper is divided into three sections- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Zoology & Botany).
Total Number of Questions and Question Distribution
The Offline Exam Paper comprises of 180 Questions. The Physics and Chemistry Section comprises of 45 Questions each and the Biology Section comprise of 90 Questions.
Total Number of Marks and Marking Scheme
The Total Marks of NEET 2020 Exam Paper is 720 Marks. Each correct answer carries 4 marks. There is a negative marking for each wrong answer. Questions will be available in an objective type format.
Marking Distribution of the NEET Exam Pattern 2020
The NEET 2020 Exam Paper includes sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The Syllabus of the Exam will be from Class XI and XII. Both Physics and Chemistry Sections include 45 questions each whereas the Biology Section comprises of 90 Questions divided into Botany and Zoology equally.
