• Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) is responsible for carrying out the admission processes.
• MBBS and BDS admissions in Chandigarh take place on the basis of NEET 2025.
• There are a total of three Government and Private Institutions included in the GMCH NEET MBBS Admission.
• A total of 300 Seats are reserved in the Admission Process.
• The admission to 85% of seats reserved under the state quota is provided by the GMCH. The rest of the seats, i.e. 15%, are taken care of by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
• The offered Programmes include a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Sciences (BDS).

The mode of application fee payment is Online through Internet Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card. In case, of offline payment, candidates can make payments through an e-challan. Also, candidates must note that the application fees are non-refundable.

Chandigarh MBBS 2025 Merit List

The Chandigarh MBBS rank list is published on the admission conducting body official website- www.gmch.gov.in. Only the candidates who submit the application form successfully are considered for the merit list. In this list, the candidates are ranked in order of merit as per their performance in the NEET exam. However, the Chandigarh NEET 2025 Rank List Result carries the details of the candidate such as Name, NEET Roll Number, Marks, Merit Rank, etc. Furthermore, it is released in pdf format. The rounds of counselling begin after the merit list release. Candidates are called for counselling as per their merit rank. Chandigarh MBBS Admission – Reservation of Seats

The allotment of seats is solely based on the NEET Score of the candidate and Merit List prepared by the counseling conducting body. However, there are reserved seats for candidates from OBC, SC, and ST categories. Last year the following percentage of seats were allotted under reservation status.
