BITSAT 2020 will be held online i.e. computer-based standardized test. Candidates who are going to be appearing in the BITSAT 2019 can expect two different papers.

  • Physics, Chemistry, English and Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics.
  • Physics, Chemistry, English and Logical Reasoning, and Biology.

Candidates can choose to appear in either of the exams, given they clear the eligibility criteria.

  • Question Paper will contain 150 questions, which will be worth a total of 450 marks.
  • Each question will have 4 options given corresponding to it. Candidates will have to select one out of the rest.
  • The whole duration of the exam will be of 3 hours.
  • Questions will be objective type only.
  • Questions will be asked from 4 different sections, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, English & Logical Reasoning and Mathematics/ Biology.
  • Physics and Chemistry sections will comprise of 80 questions, i.e. 40 each.
  • Logical Reasoning & English will cover 25 questions, with 10 questions from reasoning and 15 questions from English.
  • Mathematics/ Biology section will cover the remaining 45 questions.
  • Each correct answer will carry an addition of 3 marks.
  • Each wrong answer will cost a negative 1 mark.
  • If any question is left unanswered, then no marks will be either added or deducted.
