Karnataka Examination Authority activates the registration window for the Karnataka MBBS Admissions 2025. Candidates shall get only a few days for registration purposes. Stages Of KEA NEET 2025 Application Form

The Karnataka MBBS Application Process comprises certain stages. Each candidate has to complete these stages to successfully apply for the admission process. In case, the application fee is not paid or the choices are not locked, then the form is considered incomplete. The stages of the application procedure are as follows:

Registration

  • For  Registration, candidates need to visit the KEA NEET Website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
  • To begin with, the candidate has to first register.
  • Therefore, in the registration process, you have to enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, etc.
  • Click on the submit option and you shall receive a registration id and password.

Uploading Scanned Images

  • A recent passport size photograph, signature, and left thumb impression must be scanned and uploaded at the time of application submission.
  • However, it is mandatory to upload these scanned images in order to complete the application procedure.

Payment of Application Fee

  • Now, soon after the submission of the details and uploading the images, you need to make the payment of the form.
  • The Application Fees is non-refundable
  • Therefore, the payment has to made online through Internet Banking, Debit/ Credit Card.

Final Submission

  • After filling in all the details and uploading the images, check the details.
  • Since the application correction facility is not provided, candidates need to take caution while submitting the application form.
  • Once the final submission is made, candidates cannot make any changes in the form.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka MBBS Admission 2025

  • Other than that, a candidate who holds an Overseas Citizen of India Card can also apply.
2Domicile Factor
  • Candidates seeking admissions for the medical programmes must satisfy the domicile criteria of Karnataka, i.e. students with either root in Karnataka, who have spent a considerable amount of years in the state of Karnataka, and has done their schooling from Karnataka shall be considered eligible.
  • To be qualified as a domicile of Karnataka, candidates must have studied at least 7 years from the government-recognized Board of Karnataka.
3Age Factor
  • The minimum age required to apply for Karnataka MBBS 2025 admissions is 17th years.
  • The age limit is 25 years for candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories.
  • There is an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ ST categories, i.e. SC/ ST candidates can apply till 30 years of age.
4Qualifying Examination
  • The qualifying examination is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
  • Other than that, candidates must have passed 10+2 from the State Board of Karnataka or equivalent.
5Qualifying Subjects
  • Candidates who have studied 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Biotechnology are eligible to seek admission.
  • Other than that, proficiency in English is considered desirable.
6Qualifying Marks/Percentage
  • Candidates must have cleared the 10+2 examination with a combined aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • There is a relaxation of 5 percent for physically handicapped students,
  • A relaxation of 10 percent is given to candidates belonging to OBC/ SC/ ST categories

KEA NEET 2025 Merit List

The merit list is prepared by the authorities for indicating the names of the selected candidates. Candidates who would have scored the qualifying marks and satisfies the eligibility criteria are eligible. Moreover, in Karnataka MBBS Merit List, the candidates are ranked in order of merit. It further allows the officials to carry out the admission processes easily. The rank list for 85% state quota and 15% AIQ seats are released separately in pdf format. In addition, the merit list is released category-wise as well. The authority releases different format rank lists for allowing the students to easily find their names in the list.

Karnataka MBBS/ BDS Counselling 2025

The round of counselling starts soon after the result declaration. Only the merit students can participate in the rounds counselling. It is conducted in two rounds followed by a mop-up round if the seats are left vacant. Candidates appearing for KEA NEET Counselling have to carry certain documents as well. The documents are required for verification. Only after the verification, a seat is allotted to the candidate. Furthermore, a seat allotment list is released containing the details of the candidate and the allotted institute. After this, the selected candidates have to report at the allotted MBBS/ BDS Institutes.
