Odisha MBBS Merit List – Tie-Breaking Method

This is a very common issue that happens usually. Most of the time, two or more applicants’ rank is equal. So to make it fair, a Tie-Breaking Method takes place. The Tie-Breaking Procedure have certain criteria which are as follows-

1. Candidates with higher marks in Biology in 10+2 shall get a Higher Rank.
2. Applicants with Higher Marks in Physics get a better rank.
3. If still, the tie exists, then the Chemistry Marks will be taken into consideration. Candidates scoring more marks in chemistry are placed higher on the rank list.
4. If still, the tie exists, then the candidates with older age is preferred.
