NEET Result Declaration Date
From 2019 onwards, NEET will be held twice. The first exam is going to held on 3rd February to 17th February 2019 for which the result will be declared in 1st week of March 2019. NEET 2019 Merit List
The NEET UG merit list 2019 will be prepared in percentile determined on the basis of highest marks secured by the candidates in the NEET Exam. The merit list for 15% All India Quota will be prepared by NTA. Candidates will get admission in colleges or universities as per their position in the merit list. The rank list will be published through online mode.
NEET 2019 Merit List Tie-Breaking Criteria
In order to prepare the merit list, the authority shall use the tie-breaking method. In case candidates score equal marks in the NEET Examination, tie-breaking method will be considered. The tie-breaking mention of NEET 2019 exam is mentioned below :
- Students obtaining higher marks in Biology subject in NEET 2019 exam.
- Students securing higher marks in Chemistry subject in NEET 2019 exam.
- Candidates with less number of wrong question attempts in all subjects of NEET exam.

NEET 2019 Counselling
Based on the marks obtained in the NEET 2019 Exam, the official authority NTA will prepare the merit list. Based on the merit list, candidates will be called for counselling and seats will be allotted to them based on rank allotted to them. Having allotted the seats to the candidate, they have to report at the allotted college within the stipulated time period. During admission procedure, candidates have to bring their original documents for verification if candidates fail to report to the allotted college then his/her seat will be cancelled and will not be permitted to participate in further rounds of counselling.
