KIITEE Counselling 2020: Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) conducts the annual entrance exam i.e Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE) for academic admission of 2020 session. After the completion of the KIITEE exam and result declaration, selective students are called for counselling. KIITEE Counselling Date 2020 and seat allotment will soon be released in its official of KIIT.  Various rounds of counselling are taking place in which the final selection of the students will be done. The counselling process is for the selection of the students in the B.Tech courses. The KIITEE counselling process started after the declaration of the result.

KIIT Counselling Date 2020

 KIIT declared the KIITEE Result 2020, the conducting body called the students for counselling who cleared the exam and score the rank in KIITEE 2020.

KIITEE Counselling Procedure 2020

There are certain procedures which the candidates need to follow in order to participate in the counselling procedure and seat allotment. The steps they need to follow are:

Step 1: Choice Filling

As per the rank of the candidates, the merit list is prepared. Preference in allotting the seats is given to the candidates who secure a higher rank in the exam. 30 minutes before the commencement of the counselling, candidates have to reach the counselling venue. After reaching the venue candidates have to fill the courses as per their order of preference.

Step 2: Document Verification

After reaching the counselling venue, candidates have to verify their original documents. No forgery will be accepted during the document verification process. If candidates fail to verify their documents then the admission process will be rejected. Hence candidates must bring the original document along with them on the day of counselling.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

Once done with the documents verification process, the concerned authority allots the seats to the candidates. And the filling of seats is done as per the preference of the candidates.  Other factors that play a role in granting the seats to the candidates are the availability of seats and rank of the candidate. Confirmation of the seats is done when the candidates pay the counselling fee. Counselling process continues until there is a vacant seat.

Step 4: Payment of Fee

Students have to pay the KIITEE counselling fee in order to get admission in the allotted college. One can pay the fees through the demand draft in favour of KIIT payable at Bhubneshwar.

Documents Required for KIITEE 2020 Counselling

Aspirants should bring original documents (listed below) and token Fees to the Counseling Centre.

• KIITEE Rank Card
• Admit Card
• 10th Pass Certificate
• GATE Score Card (for MTech GATE Qualified only)
• BTech/BE/ MCA/ MSc or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For MTech/LLM/PhD Candidates)
• Relevant Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, clearly indicating the Reservation Criteria claimed by the candidate.
• School/College Leaving Certificate
• 12th Marksheet and Pass Certificate
• The graduation mark sheet and pass certificate only for MCA, MSc(Biotechnology/ Applied Microbiology)
• Conduct Certificate
• Demand Draft of Rs.75,000/- which includes the counselling registration fees of Rs.10,000/- in favour of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar. Cash payment will not be accepted.

KIITEE Counselling Process

Kalinga Institute will conduct the KIITEE 2020 exam. On the basis of the ranks scored by the candidates in the KIITEE exam, students are called for counselling. Thus the performance of the candidates makes the space in the counselling process. Not all students can participate in the KIIT Counselling process. After the declaration of the result, the rank list is prepared by the concerned department on the basis of marks gained by the students.

While preparing the merit list various things is taken into consideration. Those things are seat availability, reservation, no of candidates passed the exam, etc. Thus only selective students can participate in the KIITEE Counselling process. Seats are allotted to the students after the verification fo the documents as per subject to availability of seats for a particular course. Candidates will receive the call letter which they have to take on the day of counselling.  They have to report 30 minutes before the commencement fo the counselling rounds.

Candidates have to register themselves at the venue for the counselling procedure of KIITEE 2020. After the allotment of the seats, candidates have to pay the tuition fees as part of their admission.

The additional documents that have to be submitted are:

• Authorization letter from the candidate
• Photo Identity Proof
• The certificate which mentions the name of the candidate’s parent attending the counselling. Birth Certificate/10th Pass certificate

After the biometric verification of the documents, admission to the various courses will take place.

 KIITEE Counselling 2020 Important Notes

• Visit  www.kiitee.ac.in  and download the Rank Card.
• Candidates have to report to the counselling venue 30 minutes  before the commencement of the time of counselling
• Candidates must keep the original as well as copies of the documents.
• After the seat allotment, the process of the counselling will stop. This mainly stops when all the seats are filled and no vacant seat is left.

KIITEE Counselling 2020 – Seat Reservation

Certain seats are reserved for the reserved category students as per the rules of the state and central policy. Candidates who are going to claim the seats as per the reservation policy have to show the community certificate at the time of counselling.
