DU Admission Form 2020: 1st Cut Off List for UG (Entrance-based and Merit-based) and PG admissions for the Academic Session 2020-21 has been released. Admission against 1st Cut Off starts from 12th October 2020. The University of Delhi (DU) has released its first cut-off list for admission to undergraduate courses on October 12, as per the schedule released by the varsity. As per the official notice, there will be five cut-off lists this year. In case any seat is left vacant after these lists, further cut-off will be announced.

Admissions according to the first notification will be held from October 12-14, for the second list from October 19-21, for the third list from October 26-28, for the fourth list from November 2-4, and for the fifth list from November 9-11. The timing for admissions is from 10 AM to 5 PM. However, applicants would be given additional time to pay their fee online. The applicants must check the DU Cut Off 2020 and DU College -wise Second Cut-Off 2020 in order to get the Admission in DU 2020. DU UG/PG/NCWEB/SOL Semester Exams to begin from 1st July 2020!

Delhi University provides admission into UG and PG courses every year. In order to take admission, the candidates will have to fill the DU Application Form 2020. The admission form of Delhi University will be released soon on its official website. The candidates must note that admission to most of the Undergraduate courses is provided through the Merit List which is prepared on the basis of the marks secured by the candidate in their qualifying examination.

DU Examinations and Academic Calendar 2020 has been released following the guidelines of NTA (National Testing Agency). Admission in DU is offered separately for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. While there’s no entrance test for UG programmes, except for 14 courses in all disciplines, PG programmes, on the other hand, are offered via entrance test. For DU PG admissions, NTA conducts DUET.

While for most of the Post Graduate Courses, the candidates are granted admission through an entrance test This is to be noted that while filling the DU Admission Application Form, the candidates will have to pay the application fee. DU PG Admissions 2020- Registration Started!

For Delhi University PG admission, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct DUET 2020 Examination. DU PG admissions are offered through entrance test mode and on the basis of merit also. Admission to 50% of the DU PG seats is offered through merit mode, while the remaining 50% postgraduate seats at Delhi University are offered via entrance test – DUET.

DU Admission Process 2020

University of Delhi admission process has different stages, which means that candidates need to undergo several stages to ensure their admission in the Delhi University colleges. University of Delhi admission for most of the DU undergraduate programmes takes place based on the merit of class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination, except 14 UG programmes admission to which happens through entrance test mode. Thus, DU admission 2020 via the merit-based mode involves the following stages.

  4. Verification of documents at colleges
  5. Approval of admission by the college
  6. Online payment of admission fee

Steps of Filling DU Admission Form 2020

Step 1 : Registration: In Delhi University Form, the candidate visiting first time for the form submission procedure will have to provide the basic details by clicking on ‘New Applicant Sign Up”. The email Id and the password entered must be valid and correct. The candidate must use ID for Application Form login. The candidate will have to click on the Register button.

Step 2: Log in for the Application Form: After the successful registration, the candidate will have to proceed with the Application Form. The Login section will appear on the screen and the candidate will have to enter their registered Email ID and the password for login. After providing the correct login details an option of the ‘Apply Now’ button will appear on the screen.

Step 3: Filling up an Application Form: After the successful Login, the Application Form of Delhi University will appear on the screen. The Application will have to be provided with all the asked details, it will be divided into 8 parts namely the Personal Details, Academic Details, Course selection, Sports, ECA, Bank Details, Mandatory Uploads, Preview and the Payment.

Step 4: Payment of the Application Form: The payment of Delhi University Application Form 2019 is an important procedure that has to be done by the candidate. It will be a part of the Application Procedure but the Applications without the payment of the Application Fee will not be accepted and will not be considered as a submitted Applications.

DU Application Fee:

The submission of the Application Fee will be through an online mode and it is an important procedure that has to be done by the candidate applying for admission to the University. The payment will be through the Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. The details provided must be correct. It must be noted by the candidate that once the payment will be done by the candidate, there will be no option of fee refund provided to the candidate.

DU Semester Exam Form 2020

The university follows the semester mode of the curriculum. Therefore, the students who are already enrolled must appear in the semester exam. However, in order to sit for the semester exam, the students must fill the DU Semester Exam Form 2020. The Examination Fors are available in the respective colleges of the university. Therefore, the students can collect the Exam Form from the office window. Further, they must fill in the required details. They must carefully fill the Name of the Papers and Paper Codes. In case of any incorrect details, the university will not hold any responsibility. Also, the candidates must pay the examination fees in the office. Without the examination fees, they cannot download the admit card.

Find the steps of submitting the grievance from the points below:

  • The candidate will have to click on the link and provide the details such as the Name, Email ID, Gender, Mobile Number, Admission Form Number, and Department.
  • In the Next Step, the candidate will have to select the category of the Grievance.
  • The section will appear on the screen, the candidate will have to describe their problem in 150 words.
  • After providing the detail, the candidate will have to sign the declaration and enter the Captcha as provided.
  • Click on the submit button for the final submission.

Important Points Regarding DU Application Form 2020:

  • DU Application Form will be available in an online mode on the official website of the University. Applications will not be available in any other mode.
  • The forms for Undergraduate courses and Post Graduate courses will available separately for the candidates applying for the course.
  • Only applicants who will submit the form can download the Admit Card of Delhi University.
