However, The All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi declared the result of AIIMS MBBS 2019 on 12th June 2019. Candidates can check result and merit wise rank on aiimsexams.org. The timing of releasing the result has been confirmed by the Officials of AIIMS. However, the exam took place on 25th and 26th May 2019 online. Candidates who have appeared the exam can check their result and download their AIIMS 2019 Individual Scorecard. Candidates who will be shortlisted on the merit list will be eligible for the AIIMS MBBS Counselling 2019 (First Round). This year, around 3.84 candidates had applied for the entrance exam. Candidates whose name are on the merit list are eligible for the first round of counseling/Mock Round.

AIIMS Individual Scorecard 2019
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences has released the individual scorecard for all the candidates who have appeared the exam. However, to download your respective AIIMS Rank Card 2019, candidates have to visit the website or click on the link available here.
The Individual Score Card of AIIMS 2019 will provide the individual scores and marks of the candidate. Hence, to avail the rank card, candidates will have to provide their registration details – Registration ID, Registration Unique Code, Password, and Captcha Code.

A total of 3, 38, 457 candidates had appeared the exam out of which 1, 57, 488 were male candidates, 1, 80, 934 were female candidates, and 35 were third gender candidates. Around 11, 380 candidates have passed the exam and are eligible for the Mock Round or First Counselling Round out of which 7352 were males, 4027 were female candidates and one third gender candidate.

AIIMS MBBS 2019 Cutoff
The AIIMS MBBS cutoff 2019 is the minimum qualifying marks that the applicants required to obtain in order to participate in the counselling procedure & seat allotment. Candidates who took the AIIMS 2019 exam need to score the cut-off mark to become eligible for counselling. Normalization Process
Since, the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam took place in multiple shifts, therefore, the exam conducting body will be implementing the Normalization Process to evaluate the scores. However, the normalization process is done on the basis of the Percentile Scores.
Now, the students must be confused with the Percentile and Percentage Scores. Now, here we will explain to you the difference between the Percentile and Percentage Terms.
- The Percentile is calculated on the relative performance of all those who appear for the exam. In short, the term explains that what is your rank among all the candidates who have appeared the exam.
- The Next term is the “Raw Score”. The score is obtained on the basis of the marking scheme given by the exam conducting body. The Raw Score will help you to determine the Percentile, Percentage Score and Normalization.
How is the AIIMS MBBS Merit List Result 2019 is prepared?
The step by step procedure to check the AIIMS MBBS Result is as follows-
Distribution of Examinees in two days and in two shifts per day
As you know that the candidates who appeared the exam were distributed in four sessions. However, each exam slot has an equal number of candidates distributed. The AIIMS MBBS Exam was on 25th and 26th May 2019 in two shifts each. Thus, in total, there were 4 shifts.
Preparation of Result for Each Session
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences will release the AIIMS Result on 12th June 2019. However, the result will be available in the form of the Raw Scores, Percentages, and Percentile for each subject and total percentile.
Score Evaluation and Preparation of AIIMS MBBS Merit List 2019
The Percentile Scores for the total raw score will be then calculated for all the four sessions. The percentile for all the four sessions will be calculated separately for the total raw score and the raw scores in four subjects.
Lastly, the results of all the four shifts will be merged using the percentile of the total for ranking. If in case, there is a tie, then the above-mentioned criteria are used.

AIIMS MBBS 2019 Percentile Scores
These are scores which based on the relative performance of all candidates, those appear in the examination. Basically, marks secured are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each group of examinees.
It indicates the percentage of candidates, in which they have scored equal to or below that particular percentile in that exam. That’s why topper (higher score) of each group will get the same percentile of 100.
The marks secured in between highest & lowest scores are also converted to appropriate percentiles. The Percentile score is Normalized Score for examination.

The Qualifying Cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that offer the candidate to stay for the next selection round. The cutoff marks vary due to certain factors such as-

Methods of Resolving Ties
If two or more candidates obtain the equal marks, then to break the tie, the following steps will be taken into consideration. The overall merit/ranking will be based on percentile scores of total scores. The procedure will take place for breaking ties (similar percentiles)
Biology: If the tie happens, then higher percentile scores in Biology will be applicable for higher ranking.
Chemistry: In case Biology percentile does not break ties, then higher percentile scores in Chemistry will result in higher ranking.
Physics: If Biology & Chemistry percentiles do not break the tie, higher percentile scores in Physics will consider in higher ranking.
Age: If Biology, Chemistry & Physics percentiles do not break ties, then the elder age of candidates will be ranked higher.
AIIMS MBBS 2019 Counselling & Seat Allotment
AIIMS MBBS 2019 Counselling: Multiple rounds of counselling will be conducted in online mode. Based on the merit list, counselling will be conducted. Shortlisted students need to report physically at the designated reporting centre for document verification. Counselling schedule will be updated here as soon the notice of the same releases. The counselling will be held at AIIMS, New Delhi. AIIMS will call 4 times the number of candidates of total number of seats available in each category for 2019 Counselling. The seat will be allotted to candidates on the basis of merit, filled choices, availability of seats, etc. Candidates have to bring the following documents for verification.
