AEEE 2020: Amrita University has released the result on 2nd September 2020 and the centralized seat allotment process over now. The first allotment of the seats will start on 16th September. Earlier it has announced that the candidates who have missed the 17th-20th Aug slot for the exam.

Candidates who are interested in pursuing their undergrad engineering programmes from the University of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will be able to start applying online. Commonly known as Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam or simply AEEE 2020, the application acceptance will be completely subject to clearing the eligibility criteria set forth by the authorities. Candidates will be asked to give their slot preferences and to download their AEEE 2020 Hall Ticket before the exam.

- Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham or Amrita University is conducting the Engineering Entrance Examination.
- Known as the Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam, AEEE invites several thousands of applicants every year.

AEEE Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidates must clear a certain standard laid down by the Amrita University in order to maintain a certain set of a standard within the student resource that will be appearing for the AEEE entrance exam 2020. Candidates must necessarily clear these guidelines known as the Eligibility Criteria. The authorities have set forth the AEEE Eligibility Criteria by following several factors which include age, qualifying examination, qualifying marks, and so on. The Eligibility Criteria is as given below:
- Age: Candidates, whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1999
- Educational Qualification: A pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination
- Minimum Percentage – A Minimum of 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects is required.
- Those who appear for the above examination in March/April 2019 and expect to secure minimum marks as above may also apply.
- The candidate who will clear the JEE Main 2020 Examination will also be able to apply.
AEEE Application Form 2020
Candidates who meet the Eligibility Criteria can apply for the Amrita University 2020 Examination. The AEEE Application Form can be submitted both online as well as offline mode. Candidates can apply the online application form from 19th September 2019. Offline application forms can be obtained from the University counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore & Chennai. You have to pay a DD of INR 1000 in favor of Amrita School of Engineering, Payable at Coimbatore.
The Online Application Form for AEEE 2020 can be completed by following the steps given below.
- Registration – Candidates must register from the official website first by providing name, email Id, and so on.
- Updating the Application Form – Candidates, after registration, will have to update the application form. Updating the Application involves entering the following information.
- Personal Profile (Name, Address & Contact details);
- Academic Profile (Marks of the qualifying examination & year, Last attended school);
- Family Profile (Income details);
- Academic Programme Preference – Academic Programme is a combination of both campus and branch to be updated prior to registration for counselling;
- Mode of admission – AEEE/ JEE. If selecting the AEEE 2020, then he/ she will have to choose Examination Center, Date, and Slot. If selecting JEE (Mains) 2020, then he/ she will have to enter the details as in JEE scorecard
- Choice of the city to attend AEEE 2020

AEEE 2020 Exam Pattern
Before starting off with the preparation for AEEE 2020, candidates must go through the AEEE Exam Pattern 2020 as prescribed by Amrita University. - AEEE 2020 will be conducted in the online (computer-based).
- The examination is held for 1 and a half hours.
- AEEE 2020 question paper will be in the English Language.
- There are multiple-choice questions.
- The AEEE question paper will carry a total of 80 questions – 15 from Physics and chemistry and 30 from Mathematics.
- 3 marks are awarded to each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

AEEE 2020 Syllabus
Physics Syllabus for AEEE 2020 will include topics from Units & Measurement, Kinematics, Newton’s Laws of Motion, Impulse and Momentum, Work and Energy, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Oscillations, Waves, Heat and Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect of Current, Electromagnetic Induction, Optics, Modern Physics, and Electronic Devices.
Chemistry Syllabus for AEEE Syllabus 2020 will include States of Matter, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, Thermodynamics, Physical and Chemical Equilibria, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, Hydrogen and s-block elements, p- d- and f-block elements, Principles of Organic Chemistry and Hydrocarbons, Stereochemistry, Organic Compounds with Functional Groups Containing Oxygen and Nitrogen, Biological, Industrial and Environmental Chemistry, and Theoretical Principles of Experimental Chemistry.
Mathematics Syllabus for AEEE 2020 will include topics from Algebra, Trigonometry, Two-dimensional Coordinate Geometry, Three-dimensional Coordinate Geometry, Differential calculus, Integral calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Probability, Vectors, Statistics, Linear Programming, and Mathematical modeling.
AEEE 2020 Slot Booking
Candidates attending the AEEE 2020 (Computer Based Test) will be asked to select the date and slot preferences of their choice which is subject to availability. The allotment of date/ slot will be on a first come first serve basis. If a candidate does not exercise his/ her option, he/ she shall be assigned a date/ slot as per the availability of the same.
To secure the Exam Date and AEEE Slot Booking 2020, registered candidates need to click the slot booking link provided on the University web page and follow the instructions given below.
- Candidates can login using their Application Number and Date-of-Birth.
- After logging in, the candidates can select the test date and test slots based on availability.
- In the next screen, candidates will be prompted to select a test slot based on their availability status.
- Since other candidates are also simultaneously using the same slot booking portal, sometimes the status presented may change by the time the candidate finishes his/ her selection and the particular slot chosen by the candidate may not be available.
- In such a case, the candidate will be prompted to choose another date and hence slot on that date.
- To change the test date, click on the Change Test Date button. Candidates are advised to check the selection of Test Centre, Date and Time before confirmation.
- Click the “Confirm Slot” button to confirm the booking.
A slot once booked cannot be changed under any circumstances. Requests for change of test centers also will not be entertained. The address of the examination centre for a candidate will be mentioned in the Admit Card, which can be downloaded.
AEEE 2020 Admit Card
Amrita University will release the AEEE Admit Card during the AEEE Slot Booking Process, i.e. July 2020. The AEEE 2020 Admit Card to write the examination is generated only to those eligible candidates who have submitted their application form complete in all respects, on or before the last date specified. A scanned image of Photograph and signature shall be uploaded on or before the last date. Candidates can download the Admit Card by logging into their registered account using their registered Email ID/ Application Number and Date of Birth.
Admit Card will not be sent by post. The Amrita Admit Card will contain details like the Name and Registration Number of the candidate, Date of Exam, Address of the Exam Centre allotted, etc. The candidate will not be permitted to appear for the entrance examination without a valid Admit Card. In the examination hall, the candidate should produce his/ her Admit Card when demanded by the invigilator. Admit Card is an important document and must be kept safe until the admission process is over.
AEEE 2020 Result
The Result of Amrita university 2020 will be declared for all the candidates who will be taking the AEEE 2020 Exam. The Result of each candidate will be pronounced in the online mode on the authorized website. The AEEE Result 2020 will also show the rank of the applicant. Candidates will be required to enter their registration number, Dates of birth, and security code given. The All India Rank of the aspirant will be cited on the rank list issued by the University. Moreover, if Amrita University releases the AEEE Answer Key 2020, then the results will be based on that.
AEEE 2020 Cut-off
The AEEE Cut Off 2020 will be released by the University after the results of the exam have been declared. In order to be eligible for admission, the candidate must have met the minimum cut-off. Meeting the cutoff will get the candidate admission in various participating universities of AEEE 2020. AEEE cutoff will be different for each course and institute. Various factors, such as the number of candidates, the total number of seats, difficulty level and previous cutoff trends.
AEEE 2020 Counselling and Seat Allotment
The counselling of AEEE will be held in offline mode. The counselling will commence in May 2020. AEEE 2020 counselling will begin with SC/ ST quota candidates, followed by open quota and then state quota candidates.
For Counselling, candidates will be required to report to any of the three Amrita University campuses. The shortlisted candidates will then be required to download the counselling letter in the online mode.
After this, candidates will be allotted seats based on their merit, the number of seats and preferences. Before the seat allotment, the candidates will also have to pay a certain amount of money by demand draft as part of tuition fees. After the candidate is successfully allotted, he/ she will have to pay the remaining fees and complete all formalities.

AEEE Exam Centres 2020
Candidates must be aware of the exam centres while having the slot booking. As per the preference, the candidates have to select the center for the exam. For this, they have to take look into the list of the AEEE Exam centres so that they can choose the nearest of them. It is advised that candidates must choose the nearest centre in order to avoid any uncertainty.
AEEE 2020 Admission Procedure
Amrita University invites admission for B. Tech programmes offered at Amrita Campuses – Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Coimbatore campuses for the academic year 2020 through the following paths:
- Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE 2020) – Amrita University will provide seats to candidates based on the ranks scored by them in the AEEE conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in two modes: Computer Based Test (CBT) and Pen & Paper Test (PPT). This bit will be for 70% of seats.
- Joint Entrance Examination Mains 2020 – Other than that, candidates will be admitted to Amrita University on the basis of the rank in JEE Mains 2020 (one of the sessions). This bit will be reserved for about 30%.
