LUVAS Entrance Exam 2025: The admission to various UG/PG/Diploma/PhD courses at Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences is on the basis of a written entrance exam. However, the admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H. and DVLT program will be on the basis of combined merit list of NEET UG 2025, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in Animal and Veterinary Sciences must apply for LUVAS entrance test 2025. The examination body of the Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences conducts a written entrance exam for various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Diploma courses in the colleges. Form the previous year (2025) there was no entrance exam for B.V.Sc. and A.H. courses. Instead, the NEET-UG 2025 score was considered for admission into these undergraduate courses. LUVAS Entrance Exam 2025

LUVAS offers various UG, PG, Doctoral programs under its faculty of medicine. The UG courses offered by the university are B V.Sc., A.H. and B Tech in dairy technology. There are also diploma courses like Veterinary and Livestock Development Diploma (VLDD) and Diploma in Veterinary Laboratory Technology (DVLT). LUVAS Entrance Exam Syllabus is of two different types. For admission into Diploma courses candidates have to appear in Diploma Entrance Test (DET-2025) conducted by the university. For Postgraduate courses, candidates will have to appear for the Entrance Test (ET-2025). However, form this year the admissions into B.V.Sc. and A.H. and DVLT courses will be taken on the basis of the scores in NEET-UG 2025. Therefore, the interested candidates need to appear for the NEET entrance exam.

The University opts for online mode of registration and application through their official website. However, candidates can also get the application form from the office window. The basic eligibility for taking admissions into the programs is that the candidate should have studied science stream subjects in their intermediary studies. The upper age limit of the candidates is 25 years, whereas backward classes enjoy a relaxation of 5 years.

LUVAS Exam Pattern

After filling the application form, candidates need to become aware of the exam pattern and the type of questions that come in the entrance test. B.V.Sc. and A.H. and DVLT Program Exam Pattern

For the academic session 2025-23, the admission into the above courses will be on the basis of NEET-UG 2025 marks. Candidates aspiring to take admission into these courses need to compulsorily sit for the NEET Entrance exam. Therefore, the candidates need to prepare for the NEET UG in order to get admission into these courses. NTA is going to take NEET UG at various centers in India. M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. Exam Pattern

All the eligible candidates including in-service candidates (except ICAR/JNU nominees, NRIs and Foreign Nationals) seeking admission to M.V.Sc. program will have to appear in the LUVAS Entrance Test 2025 (ET) to be held at Hisar. The candidate must report at the allotted center of the Entrance Test. For admission to M.V.Sc. the course curriculum is as per Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education (MSVE) as prescribed by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). Veterinary and Livestock Development Diploma Program (VLDD) Exam Pattern

The Diploma Entrance Test (DET-2025) is going to take place in online mode. The Institute of Para Veterinary Sciences offers a 2-year Diploma Course in Veterinary and Livestock Development Diploma. All the candidates (except employees of SSB) shall have to appear in DET-2025 for VLDD. Therefore, the candidates desirous to appear in LUVAS Hisar Entrance Exam 2025 for DVLT shall report at the entrance centers.

Eligibility for VLDD Course

Applicants who have appeared in 10+2 or equivalent examination with required subjects (even if result is yet to be declared) may also appear in DET. However, such candidates will be considered for admission on merit basis of DET provided they fulfill the eligibility conditions and production of all the original documents at the time of document verification. Note: The syllabus for Diploma Entrance Test for VLDD is on the basis of the Matric standard of the Board of School Education, Haryana / CBSE, New Delhi. There will be no negative marking.

B.Tech in Dairy Technology Exam Pattern

All the candidates seeking admission to B.Tech (Dairy Technology) program will have to appear in the ET-2025 to be held at Hisar. Applicants who fulfill the minimum eligibility conditions will be eligible for the entrance test. Applicants who have appeared in 10+2 or equivalent examination with required subjects (even if the result is yet to be declared) may also appear in the entrance test, however, such candidates will be considered for admission on merit basis. Syllabus of the entrance test is from the syllabi of 10+1 & 10+2 of Board of School Education, Haryana /C.B.S.E., New Delhi. The test is of 3 hours duration from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. Important Instructions for LUVAS Entrance Exam

Now, it is important for the candidates to follow the instructions given by the examination body of the University. Candidates appearing for the examination must also check LUVAS Entrance Exam Syllabus 2025 need to read the below-given instructions before for the entrance test

• The first 30 minutes i.e. from 10.00-10.30 a.m. are meant for completing pre-examination formalities.
• The Medium of test shall be English only.
• All the questions will be of multiple choice type.
• There will be no negative marking (for some courses)
• Entry to the test center will not be allowed without a valid web-generated Admit Card.
• Entry will not be allowed after 10:00 a.m. in any case.
• The candidates must bring with them two blue or black ball pens only.
• Electronic devices such as calculator, mobile phone, etc. are not allowed in the examination centre.
• The answer sheet of such a candidate who uses pencil or ball pen of any other color shall not be evaluated and the candidate will be debarred from admission.
• Before using the answer sheet, the candidate must carefully check the question booklet and answer sheet and report the shortcomings, if any, to the supervisory staff. Once the candidate has written/filled in the answer sheet, no replacement shall be allowed.
• Cuttings / overwriting / using erasing fluid / erasing tape etc. are not allowed on the answer sheet. Such answers will not be considered.
• The answer sheet should not be folded and no rough work is allowed to be done on the answer sheet.
