The Directorate of Admissions (DOA) of Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati conducts the SVU DDE Admission 2025. The admission starts in June 2025. Candidates can register themselves and fill the application form of SVUCET. The admission council of Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati conducts SVUCET for SVU Admission in postgraduate programs offered by its affiliated colleges.

Applicants can select more than one test in a single SVUCET 2025 application form. The entrance examination will be conducted in Tirupati and Kurnool only. The certificate verification will only be held at Tirupati. Qualified candidates are required to register themselves in the web counseling of SVUCET 2025. Sri Venkateswara University  SVU full form is Sri Venkateswara University (శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర విశ్వవిద్యాలయం) commonly referred to as S.V. University or SVU was founded in 1954 by chief minister Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu. It is a state university located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.  It becomes the second oldest university in Andhra Pradesh after the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 and holds a NAAC rating of “A+” with a score of 3.52 out of 4. Sri Venkateswara University introduced correspondence courses in 1972 and was upgraded as Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) in April 1995 as per UGC norms.

Eligibility Criteria For SVU UG and PG Admission 2025

In order to apply for Sri Venkateswara University Admission, the candidates must fulfil certain eligibility criteria. Therefore, before filling the SVU Registration Form the applicants must read the eligibility conditions for the course in which they are applying. If the applicants fail to fulfil the eligibility, then their application form is likely to get rejected. So, for the knowledge of the candidates, we are giving a list of eligibility conditions in the following points:

• Applicants should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 40 per cent marks in the concerned subject.

• For admission in the M.Ed program, candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the B.Ed program.

• For admission into M.Sc. Tech in Hydrogeology, the aggregate marks in M.Sc. should be 50 per cent. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories, mere passing is sufficient.

• Candidates appearing for their final year qualifying examination are also eligible to take the tests. But it must be noted that they should have passed the qualifying examination with requisite minimum marks by the time the SVUCET 2025-22 admissions take place.

• Candidates who qualify in the entrance test but do not have the requisite percentage of marks in the qualifying examination or not satisfying the subject eligibility requirement are not eligible for admission.

• For courses where the admission is based on the degree as a whole, the aggregate percentage in the group subjects should be 40 per cent.

Sri Venkateswara University Application Form

The Admission Council of SVU invited the fresh Application Form for SVU Admission to various courses offered by the university. Therefore, the candidates who wish to take admission to PG programs offered by Sri Venkateswara University can fill the SVUCET application form by the first week of May 2025. However, the printout application form of SVUCET can be submitted by the second week of May 2025. Candidates are not required to do separate registration for each and every admission test. They can apply for more than one test in a single SVUCET application form.

How To Apply For SVU Admission?

The admission council of Sri Venkateswara University invites the online application form for SVU Admission. The candidates need to Register themselves in the first step. After the registration, they can Log In and fill the Application Form of SVU. However, the applicants must fill the information correctly. Also, the candidates must have the documents prescribed in the prospectus which are required while filling the online application form. Therefore, we are giving the basic steps to fill the SVUCET Application Form in the section given below:

Step 1 – Registration

• Visit the official link (the link will be activated as soon as the application forms are released)

• Select “SVUCET-2025 for Apply”

• Candidates will be directed to a menu option on their screen

• After reading the Guidelines, click on the “Online Application” button on the left menu.

• While filling the medium of study in qualifying examination details, First Language, Second Language, Subject 1, Subject 2, and Subject 3, a list of eligible courses for the degree combination will be listed on the left under the title “Eligible Courses List”.

• Select the course(s) you are interested to opt for. Candidates will then find the list of “Selected Test(s)” and “Amount for the Selected Course(s)”.

• Enter the personal details such as the name of the candidate, present address and Date of Birth. Candidates must note that the details must be filled as per the SSC certificate.

• Candidates must make sure to provide the correct mobile number and Email address while entering the personal details since all the correspondence from Admission authority (SVUCET 2025) will be made to Mobile and Email only, No Postal Correspondence will be made under any circumstances.

• After entering the registration details, candidates will receive an SMS (OTP) of a security code. Candidates need to type the security code in the box provided in the registration form following with a message “Verified” in green color will be displayed on the screen.

Step 2 – Filling up Application Form

• Click on “Register & Proceed” for filling the application with all academic and other details.

• Upload scanned colored passport photograph and signature (signed on white paper only)

• Enter the academic, study, reservation and other personal details and submit the application.

• Select the terms and conditions box and click the preview button.

• A preview of the application form will be displayed.

• Candidates will be able to see two buttons. The “Back-Edit” button can be used for editing any mistakes, the “Save and Print” button will be used for continuing applying the application.

• An Acknowledgement slip will be displayed.

• Candidates can take a printout of the SVUCET 2020 application form after 24 hours.

Step 3 – Application Fee Payment

• Click on the “Online Payment” option from the left side navigation panel.

• Further, click on “Online Payment through SBI Collect / Bill Desk Button”.

• Candidates must read the instructions carefully and click on the checkbox to proceed payment and click the proceed button.

• Applicants will receive a message on their registered mobile number stating “Your Application is submitted successfully with Application No: XXXX with Payment Ref.Id: xxxxxxxx”.

• The registration fee can be paid through debit card, credit card or net banking.

• The application fee of SVUCET 2025 will be non-refundable.

Step 4 – Printing Application Form

• Candidates will receive an SMS to your registered mobile number and also get an email to registered email-id with complete application details as PDF file after 24 hours.

• Candidates have to take a printout of the application form “Print Filled Application Button” of the same and retain the same until completion of admission.

Open University System: Candidates do not have any formal qualifications can get admission in the Bachelor of Arts (B.A) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) courses. For admission, a candidate has to qualify entrance test conducted by D.D.E. and should complete the age of 18 years as of 31st July- 2018.

SVU Common Entrance Test Admit Card 2025

The hall ticket will be released in the last week of May 2025. Candidates who have submitted the application form can download the hall ticket. No candidate will receive the hall ticket of SVUCET 2025 by post. To download the admit card, candidates must visit the official website of the university and enter their application number and date of birth as a password in the login window. Candidates are advised to preserve the hall ticket till the time of admission.

The students who are going to appear in the Common Entrance Test of Sri Venkateswara University must know the exam pattern of SVUCET 2025.
