IPU MBBS Merit List 2025: The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is the conducting body for IPU MBBS Admission. The merit list comprises the names of those candidates who have been selected for the counselling round. This list is prepared on the basis of applicants’ NEET Scores. IPU MBBS Merit List is published for each round of counselling on the official website of IPU. IPU MBBS Rank List 2025 Dates

The MBBS Faculty of GGSIPU releases the rank list category-wise. Moreover, the rank list for admission to 85% state quota seats and 15% AIQ seats is released separately. After the release of the IPU NEET Merit List, the registration for the first counseling round starts. Hence, candidates should keep themselves updated with the important event dates.

1. Visit the Official Website of Indra Prastha University – www.ipu.ac.in
2. Click on the “Merit List” Link
3. The Rank List PDF then appears on the screen.
4. Search your name. Press Ctrl+F, and enter your name, the list is then highlighted in the list.
5. Download and take the printout of the rank list.
6. Keep the Printout safe for future reference.

Document Verification (Round-I)

• The Document Verification Session of IPU MBBS takes place offline along with the counselling process.
• The session for admission to the colleges is affiliated with the IP University.
• Candidates must carry all their original documents along with two sets of photocopies of the documents.
• The Merit List is for the candidates who are eligible for the Document Verification Procedure. The List is released separately for both Medical and Dental Colleges.

Round II

Tie-Breaker Rule of IPU Merit List Result 2025

The Tie-Breaker Concept is done if two or more candidates score the same number of marks on the NEET Entrance Test. The Tie-Breaker Criteria for IPU MBBS 2025 Merit List is as follows-

1. Firstly, the candidates scoring more marks in Biology in Class 12th shall get a higher rank.
2. If still, the tie exists, then candidates with more marks in Chemistry receive a higher rank.
3. After that, if the tie still exists, then the candidate with fewer wrong answers is preferred.
4. If the above tie-breaker criteria fail then the candidate with older age gets a better rank.

The IPU MBBS/ BDS Counselling begins soon after the release of the merit list. Only the merit students can participate in this admission round. Further, the students are called for counselling as per the merit list. That is, the student ranked higher in the list is called first for the procedure. This round is basically conducted for carrying out the process of seat allotment and document verification. The seats are allotted on the basis of certain factors that includes seat availability, and rank of the student in the merit list.
