Telangana MBBS 2018 counselling will be held in the month of July. All the candidates who wish to seek admission will have to first take the NEET 2018 examination. After the application process for Telangana MBBS Admissions has ended, candidates will be required to check the merit list that will be released for all eligible candidates. The selection of every candidate for the MBBS admissions will be done based on the merit list.

KNR University of Health and Sciences will release the merit list of Telangana MBBS admissions 2018. The provisional merit list will be published online in the 3rd week of June 2018. The merit list will be released on the basis of marks scored in NEET 2018 by candidates. The merit list will include the name of the candidate, All India Rank of the student, NEET 2018 rank, date of birth, NEET 2018 roll number, etc. Those candidates who are listed under the provisional merit list will be called for document verification and after the verification is done, a final merit list will be released.
Counselling is one of the important events in any admission procedure. Most candidates tend to take the counselling procedure lightly and do not turn up for the same. However, candidates must make sure that they participate in the counselling round as it is only during this time when the seats are allotted to the aspirants to their desired colleges. The counselling for Telangana MBBS 2018 admissions will be conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana in the 1st week of July 2018. The seat allotment will take place on the basis of the rank, the preference of colleges and availability of seats. The counselling will be held in offline mode. After the documents have been verified and the final merit list released, candidates, will be required to exercise their web options. At the help centers, eligible candidates will be required to fill the choices of college in which they are looking for admission. Candidates must login to their individual account to get the list of colleges and lock their choices. Those who have been allotted seats in the desired college will be sent an allotment letter which has to be downloaded.
At the time of Offline counselling, candidates will be required to produce the following documents for verification:
- NEET 2018 Admit Card
- NEET 2018 Rank Card
- 10th Admit Card and Mark sheet
- 12th Admit Card and Mark sheet
- Caste certificate
- Proof of local status
- PH, NCC and Sports Certificate
- Aadhaar Card
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Minority Certificates
- Residence Certificate of the Candidate or Either Parents (If studied in the institutions outside of Andhra Pradesh)
- Latest Income Certificate (If claiming fee exemption)
While reporting to the counselling center, the candidates must carry with them all the original certificates (mentioned above) along with two sets of self-attested Xerox copies and print out of online application form duly signed with photograph affixed at the space provided.
