NTA NEET Topper’s Strategy and Motivational Stories
The toppers suggest that their main focus was on NCERT and Practice Papers. Keep practicing that. The NEET 2020 Topper Soyeb Aftab also mentioned that he stayed away for months from Social Media. He did multiple readings of NCERT Books and solved topic-wise past examination papers.
Similarly, Bhavik Bansal another topper of NEET and AIIMS MBBS 2019, also suggested going for solving NEET Previous Papers and Mock Tests. Preparation for NEET MBBS and BDS requires a lot of hard work and determination. You need to start your preparation from Day 1. So, here are some NEET Preparation Tips for the candidates who are freshers and droppers.
- Firstly, make sure that you are thorough with the exam pattern and syllabus. If you are well acquainted with the pattern and syllabus, then 10% of the work is done.
- Start with the chapters which you find tough. Firstly, start with the respective NCERT Book of the subject.
- Make your fundamental concepts strong. Target those chapters first, which have a higher weightage.
- If you are done with the NEET NCERT Syllabus, then follow a few reference books. You can also check the NEET Youtube Channels for Preparation. These are not only economical but will also make you understand the topics using Layman Examples.
- Make Notes and jot down the formulas. Go for NEET Mobile Apps as well. Take short quizzes, this will help you to understand the topics better.
- Once you are done with the NCERT and other reference books, then start practicing NEET Mock Tests, NEET Sample Papers, and Old Question Papers. This will improve your accuracy to solve the questions.
- Lastly, maintain a healthy diet. Keep your schedule flexible. Have healthy food and follow a good diet.
