NEET Syllabus 2021

The NEET Syllabus includes topics from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology & Botany). Further, candidates need to have complete knowledge of the exam activities schedule. NEET 2021 Exam Pattern

The students appearing for the entrance exam should have complete knowledge of the exam pattern. Thus, the NEET Exam Pattern is as follows:

  • There will be 180 Questions in total
  • The NEET Question Paper will be divided into 3 sections, which include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Zoology & Botany).
  • In addition, the candidates will have to complete the paper in 3 hours.
  • Moreover, there will be 45 questions in Physics and Chemistry section. The Biology (Zoology & Botany) section will further have 90 questions.
  • The questions will be Multiple Choice Type Questions
  • The question paper will be available in English and Hindi language. Further, considering that it is a national level exam, candidates will be allowed to choose their regional language from the list of languages.
  • However, students should note that the language you choose should be in accordance with the choice of the exam centre.
  • Further, for each question, 4 marks will be awarded to the students.
  • As negative marking is applicable. Thus, for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will get deducted.
  • The NEET Exam will be of 720 marks in total.
  • The exam will further take place in over 154 cities.

Medium of Paper

Apart from English and Hindi, the test paper will be available in 9 different regional languages. The languages in which the paper can be made available are as follows:

NEET 2021 Preparation Tips

  • The first step to start the preparation is to find all the information about the exam pattern and syllabus. Only after that, you can have a proper plan of action.
  • Further, make a time-table, wherein you should mention how much time which subject or topic is supposed to get complete. This should be done by prioritizing the topics or section which carries more marks. Candidates should try and finish the sections which carry more marks first.
  • In addition, you can even make a planner for each day. Wherein, you can mention the time you want to devote to a particular topic. Don’t put it all at once, and try to add things that you will actually be able to finish.
  • Make proper notes while studying. These will come handy during revision in the end time. Moreover, try to make clear notes so that you don’t face difficulty while looking for a topic during revision.
  • Furthermore, it is very important to devote proper time for practicing question papers. Candidates can go for online mock tests as well. They are absolutely free. These test papers will help you in analyzing as to what are your strengths and what parts you need to work upon.
  • Make sure that you are not too much into it. As that may affect your mental health. Thus, it is important to engage yourself in other activities as well. You can try out meditation or can simply go for walks or can play some outdoor games.
