  • The Education Ministry has confirmed that the syllabus of NEET remains the same for this session. However, now there will be 20% more questions to choose from. Now the candidates will be given a choice to answer the questions.
  • As the syllabus remains the same, so the changes are made in the paper pattern. Now there will be more questions in the paper for allowing students to choose the question they want to answer.

NEET Syllabus 2025

The NEET syllabus PDF includes topics from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology & Botany). In addition, the question paper is held in 11 different languages. NEET 2025 Exam Pattern

The students appearing for the entrance exam should have complete knowledge of the exam pattern. Thus, the NEET exam pattern is as follows:

  • The question paper includes 180 Questions in total
  • The NEET question paper is divided into 3 sections, which include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Zoology & Botany).
  • In addition, the candidates have to complete the paper in 3 hours.
  • Moreover, 45 questions are included in the Physics and Chemistry section. The Biology (Zoology & Botany) section further has 90 questions.
  • The questions are Multiple Choice Type Questions
  • The question paper shall be available in English and Hindi language. Further, considering that it is a national-level exam, candidates are allowed to choose their regional language from the list of languages.
  • However, students should note that the language they choose should be in accordance with the choice of the exam center.
  • Further, for each question, 4 marks are awarded to the students.
  • As negative marking is applicable. Thus, for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will get deducted.
  • The NEET Exam is 720 marks in total.
  • The exam further takes place in over 154 cities.

NEET 2025 Preparation Tips

  • The first step to start the NEET preparation is to find all the information about the exam pattern and syllabus. Only after that, you can have a proper plan of action.
  • Further, make a timetable, wherein you should mention how much time which subject or topic is supposed to get completed. This should be done by prioritizing the topics or section which carries more marks. Candidates should try and finish the sections which carry more marks first.
  • In addition, you can even make a planner for each day. Wherein, you can mention the time you want to devote to a particular topic. Don’t put it all at once, and try to add things that you can actually be able to finish.
