Schedule Your Time Table
Make sure that you dedicate at least 10 to 13 Hours for the preparation. Follow a strict timetable. After going through all the Exam Pattern and Syllabus, check the topics and areas which you find difficult and easy. Sort them on the basis of your difficulty level. Slot times for that. How to Attempt NEET 2019 UG Question Paper?
You know that the NEET is an Offline Entrance Exam. Thus, we are providing some strategies that will help you to attempt the NEET MBBS Question Paper within the time duration.
Time Management
The First and the Foremost Thing to keep in mind is Time Management. You have a total of 180 Questions and 180 minutes to solve them. Which means that you have exactly one minute reserved for each question. Now, it is expected that out of 1980 questions, at least 120 questions will be direct formula based numerical or theory-based, which tends to be easy. Hence, these questions will not take more than half a minute to solve. Therefore, save those minutes for solving the difficult level questions.
Thus, for really hard questions you have 3 minutes, for medium difficult paper, you have 2 mins, and super easy questions, you have 1 minute.
The strategy of Attempting Questions Based on Subject
Okay, so the NEET Exam comprises of three subjects- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Out of which Biology is the most scoring subject. This section has a total of 360 Marks out of 720 which is quite pretty good. Another benefit of solving the Biology Questions is that these are theory based. That means, that you can save a lot of time for other subject questions.
Order Of Attempting the Questions
Start with the Biology Section first followed by Chemistry, and Physics. Keep at least 30 minutes for attempting the left-out questions. If you are confused with two options or whenever you are doing guesswork, then be careful, as NEET Exam carries negative marking.
Stay Calm and Positive
Lastly, stay calm and positive while attempting the questions. Do not stress overpower your hard work and mental state. Solve the questions carefully.
List of Instructions to be followed at the Time of the Exam
At the time of the Examination, candidates have to follow certain rules and regulations. The list of the instructions is as follows-
- You will be allotted with a seat, where your roll number will be mentioned.
- Read the Instructions carefully, and then fill in the OMR Sheet.
- Candidates must listen to the invigilator carefully and have to sign on the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator.
- Candidates must also note that you cannot leave the examination hall before the closing date of the exam session.
- Exam items such as Pen, Pencil, and Rough Sheets will be provided in the examination hall itself.
