JK NEET Merit List is prepared category-wise for the ease of seat allotment. Hence, the rank list for 85% state quota seats and 15% AIQ seats is released separately. Jammu NEET Merit List 2025 – Tie Breaker Criteria

The Tie-Breaker Criteria process takes place when two or more candidate scores the same number of marks in NEET Entrance Exam. Therefore, to break the criteria, the following parameters are used.

1. To break the tie, the candidate with more marks in Biology shall get a higher rank on the Merit List.
2. If the tie still persists, then the candidate with more marks in Chemistry receive a better rank and position
3. After that, if the tie still exists then the candidate with fewer wrong answers is placed higher in the rank list.
4. If the tie still remains, then the candidate with older age is allotted a higher rank in the JK Merit List pdf.

JK MBBS/ BDS Counselling 2025

The counselling begins soon after the release of the merit list. In addition, the rounds of counselling continue until all the seats are allotted. JK MBBS Counselling further is conducted by the JK Medical Council. This admission round is for document verification and seat allotment. Hence, the students must carry the required documents. Further, the students have to register online first for counselling. They have to provide their choice of preferences for colleges. Furthermore, on the basis of merit, an allotment list is released.
