JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025
Before heading to the JEE Main chapter wise weightage, let’s take a brief look at the JEE Main Exam Pattern. JEE Main 2025 Preparation Tips
To prepare for JEE Main Exam, here we have provided some tips and tricks that have been shared by the JEE Main Toppers. Students can implement these techniques in their preparation schedule.
- Always start with the exam pattern and syllabus as these two are very important in the jee main preparation journey. Go through the syllabus thoroughly. Note down the topics that are difficult based on the exam pattern.
- Start with the difficult chapters/topics first. Analyse the areas where you find hard to understand.
- Complete the NCERT first. Make your basic foundation strong. Practice the formulas, short terms nicely.
- Make short notes to understand well. This will help at the time of revising the topics.
- Take frequent mock tests to check your performance. Taking mock tests daily will also help the students in improving their accuracy to attempt the questions.
- Refer to a limited number of books for a detailed explanation. Watch youtube videos to understand the topics well.
- Keep at least a one or two months for JEE Main Revision.
- Ditch all the social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram etc.
- Maintain a good and healthy diet. Take short naps or breaks after studying.

For JEE Main there will be 2 papers. Paper 1 will be for B.Tech and Paper 2 will be for B.Arch and planning.
