The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, commonly known as IIT Hyderabad or IITH is an Engineering and Research Institution. It is situated in Sangareddy district, Telangana, India and was originally established in the year 2008. Moreover, the institute offers several programmes under which applicants can apply for admissions such as UG and PG programmes. IIT Hyderabad has well-qualified faculty of 181 members. It also offers 294 seats in total for granting admission to students.  The premises are within the land of 570 acres. Admission Modes of IIT Hyderabad

Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad grants admission to candidates depending upon the following modes:

  • The candidate must have appeared first in JEE Main and then in JEE Advanced. Also, they must secure a valid rank in order to get admission through JoSAA counselling.
  • Applicants belonging to the General category must have an aggregate of 75% in class 12th. Whereas applicants belonging to SC/ST/PwD category must have at least 65%.
  • An aspirant must be one of the top 20 percentiles of class 12th board exams.

IIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2019-20

The concerned authority of IITH releases the category-wise and branch-wise cutoff of IIT Hyderabad every year. This cutoff helps to avail seats for admission. As explained before, the cutoff is the least marks that need to be scored by a desiring applicant. Thus, candidates who want admission must score equal to or above the IITH Cutoff. Although the admission authority has not yet published the cutoff of this year, however, candidates can go through IIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2019 and 2018. The last year’s cut off is useful for applicants to estimate their chances of getting admission. In addition, the candidate can also predict the IIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2020. The present year cutoff will be available soon after the conclusion of JEE Advanced 2020.
