AIIMS MBBS 2019 Seat Reservation: AIIMS has reserved seats in each of the Institute for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, OBC and PwD category candidates. AIIMS is a national level entrance exam conducted in online (computer based mode). Applicants who belong to reserved category gets the advantage compared to the unreserved category in terms of qualifying marks, entrance test cut-off, age criteria and seat allotment. Categories that fall under AIIMS MBBS 2019 Seat Reservation

AIIMS MBBS 2019 Seat Reservation: Below table contains the category and percentage of the seat reserved for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC & PwD. If any candidates belong to the mentioned category, then he/she need to enter the details during online registration. Applicants must note that they should have valid supporting documents to claim their category. Candidates who are applying under reservation quota, they must download the appropriate proforma provided in the notification brochure, fill it properly and submit it at the time of reporting for counselling and admission.

How to apply for AIIMS MBBS 2019 Seat Reservation?

If a candidate falls under the reservation criteria and has valid supporting documents and certificate, then they can apply under reservation. During the online registration of AIIMS 2019, candidates need to claim their reserved category.

AIIMS MBBS Seat Reservation 2019 – Inter Convertibility

  • If a requisite number of qualified candidates are not available under Scheduled Caste, then it will be filled out by the aspirants belonging from the Scheduled Tribe and Vice-Versa.
  • Even after that, if the reserved category candidates do not qualify to fill in the available seats, then the seats will be given to the General Category candidates.
  • If OBC Category seats are left vacant, then the seats will be given to the General Category candidates.

AIIMS MBBS Seat Reservation 2019 – Criteria for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD

Candidates who belong to OBC Category should not be from Creamy Layer. These candidates have to produce relevant documents and certificates. They must not be a year older than a year. Students who belong to the SC/ST Category must also produce relevant documents to prove their authenticity. The documents must be duly constituted and authorized by the Medical Board of the State or Central Hospitals.
