VTUEEE Eligibility Criteria 2025: Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology conducts the Vel Tech Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination (VTUEEE). The Application of the same will start soon for Phase- 1 in both online and offline mode. Candidates who are looking forward to pursuing B.Tech. must be well aware of the eligibility criteria. The university has set certain parameters for the aspirants of VTUEEE 2025. Therefore, not all the candidates who are willing can participate in the exam. Only the candidates fulfilling the predetermined VEL Tech eligibility criteria 2025 set by the institute can apply for it.

It’s important to know that the university has its own set of norms when it comes to admissions. With attention to these norms, they have established certain parameters. Such as qualification, age limit, compulsory subjects, etc. Hence, the candidate seeking admission to the university through VTUEEE must satisfy Vel Tech Eligibility Criteria. In other words, the aspirant lacking any of these requirements cannot apply for the VTU Exam 2025.

Academic Qualification
In addition to the Government norms, candidates who seek admission to B.Tech degree Programmes should have either completed or appearing for, any one of the following examinations. The candidate must have cleared the 10+2 Qualifying Examination as one of the VTU Eligibility Criteria. To put it differently, one must have passed the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by any of the following.
- State Board or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
- The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
- National Institute of Open Schooling.
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
- High School Certificate Examination of the University of Cambridge or equivalent.
Those appearing for 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in March/ April/ May 2025 can appear for VTUEEE 2025.
Note: For the purpose of consideration for award of the Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship, the State from which the candidate has studied or appeared for the qualifying examination (12th standard examination of the State or Central Board) will be taken as the state to which the candidate belongs. Despite the fact that the nativity of the candidate may be another State or Union Territory.
Age Limit & Age Restriction
When we talk about the Eligibility of VTUEEE, age is another factor we should keep in mind
- The applicants must not have completed 25 years of age. In other words, the age of the candidate as on 1st July of the year in which admission takes place should be less than 25 years.
- However, 5 years of relaxation in the age limit is given to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Physically Challenged (PC) category.
- Additionally, age relaxation of up to six months may be granted by the Authority in specific cases.
Note: Date of birth as mentioned in the Secondary Education Board/ University certificate only will be taken as authentic. No other documents will be considered as far as age is concerned.
Subject Combination Requirement
To get admission to any branch of B.Tech. Degree Programmes the candidates must have passed the 10 + 2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects. This requirement is prescribed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & University Grants Commission (UGC).
About VTUEEE 2025
VTUEEE is conducted by Vel Tech University for admission to B.Tech. programmes at the university. It is a university-level exam that takes place in two phases. Candidates can fill the VTUEEE Application Form in both online and offline mode. The VTU exam fee is INR 950. Candidates can download the VTUEEE Hall Ticket from the website. Applicants must start preparing as per the Syllabus of VTU. In addition practice as many VTU Question Papers as you can. Henceforth, the authority will declare the Result of VTU Exam on veltech.edu.in. Thereafter, the authority will summon the candidates for the VTUEEE 2025 Counselling.
