How to Check UP CPAT Results 2021?
As mentioned above, the result can be checked online. Hence, the guide to check the result is provided here. The step by step procedure to check Uttar Pradesh CPAT Results is as follows-
- Visit the Official Website of UP CPAT, i.e www.upcpat.org
- Now, on the Homepage section, click on the result link
- Once you click on the result link, you are redirected to a new page
- Enter your Registration ID and Password and click on the submit button.
- The result then appears on the screen.
- Download and take the printout of the Result sheet.

UP CPAT 2021 Merit List
Well, the Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-AYUSH Test Result is released in the form of a Merit List. The Merit List shall be available separately for each course (BUMS/ BAMS/ BHMS). The Merit List contains the rank of the candidate along with the qualifying status of the candidate. The merit list is released along with the result. The UP CPAT Merit List 2021 shall be available in PDF Format so that it can be easy to download. The rank list is made available separately for each category and course. There are two types of merit list- Overall Merit List and Category-Wise Merit List.
How the UP CPAT Merit List Is Made?
There are two factors on the basis of which the Merit List is prepared. The factors are-
- Cutoff marks and
- Tie-Breaking Criteria
The Cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that are set by the exam conducting authority that determines the selection of the candidates. Candidates who score more than the minimum qualifying marks shall be eligible for the further process of the admission. The second one is the Tie-Breaking Criteria. The Tie-Breaking Criteria is applicable when more than two candidates score the same number of marks.
Expected Cutoff Marks of UP CPAT 2021
The Cut-off is the minimum set of marks that the conducting body sets in order to select the deserving candidates. If you score more than the cutoff marks, then you are eligible for the counselling. Criteria for UP CPAT Tie-Breaking Method
To Normalize the Score and to be fair in terms of ranking of the candidate of the UP CPAT Entrance Exam. The conducting authority uses the tie-breaking method. The conditions to fulfill the tie-breaking criteria are as follows-
- In the first preference, the applicant who has more marks in Biology shall be given a higher rank.
- If the tie does not break, then the candidate with more marks in Chemistry is given a higher rank.
- If still, the tie exists, then the applicant having more marks in Physics is given a higher rank.
- Even after that, if the tie still persists, then the candidate who is older in age shall be given a higher rank on the UP CPAT Merit List Result 2021.
What after the UP CPAT Result 2021?
After the declaration of the result, the qualified candidates have to attend the Counselling Round. The UP CPAT 2021 Counselling Round either takes place online otherwise offline. If a candidate is selected, then he/ she is called out for the counselling process. The counselling process is basically the last and final stage of the admission process of UP CPAT 2021. In addition, the counselling takes place in two to three rounds depending upon the number of candidates that appeared on the exam.
On the basis of the rank of the applicant, the applicants have to attend the counselling procedure. In the final admission stage, the document verification of the applicants takes place. If all the documents and certificates are correct, then the candidate gets a seat in the UP CPAT Colleges.
List of Documents Required at the time of Counselling
Candidates have to carry the following documents at the time of UP CPAT Counselling 2021–
- Admit Card of UP CPAT 2021
- Class 10th Mark Sheet
- Passing Certificate of UP CPAT 2021
- Class 12th Marksheet and Passing Certificate.
- Valid Photo Identity Proof such as Passport/Aadhaar Card/Driving License/PAN Card etc.
- Domicile Certificate (mandatory for all the candidates)
- Recent Passport Size Photograph (At least six copies)
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Character Certificate from the school last attended.
- PWD Certificate (if applicable)
The Applicant has to carry original as well as a photocopy of these documents. If a candidate fails to bring any of the above documents, then he/ she is not eligible to take part in the further admission process. Hence, carry all the documents carefully.
