The Authorities of Kashmir on Saturday said that the NEET Hall Ticket 2019 will be treated as Highway Passes for Kashmir students. The Divisional Commissioner, Basheer Ahmed Khan on Saturday said that the Srinagar-Jammu Students who are appearing the exam can use the Admit Card as travel passes.
The Commissioner also said that “Hundreds of Candidates from the valley are going to appear the exam. With the Highway restriction coming into the effect at the time of the movement of forces convoys on Srinagar-Jammu Students. Therefore, the students have expressed their fears that they may not be able to reach the exam center on time.
Cyclone Fani Affected Areas: NEET Exam 2019 is postponed for Odisha State Candidates.
- NEET 2019 Exam had been postponed for Odisha State Candidates as per the request of State Government.
- The Revised Dates for the Exam has been announced. The exam will take place on 20h May 2019.
- The NEET Exam for Odisha State will take place in seven cities of Odisha State – Angul, Balasore/Baleswar, Berhampur, Cuttack, Rourkela, and Sambalpur.
The National Student’s Union India (NSUI), Goa President Ahraz Mulla has written a letter to the President, Prime Minister, and Union HRD Minister requesting for postponing the NEET Exam. The Cyclone Fani has affected the areas of Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and other states.
The Letter states that – “NEET Exam for Medical Entrance Test needs a lot of concentration and dedication with the preparation for the last 2 years. The Cyclone Fani has reached the coastal belt of East India has created destruction, with no power supply, and unavailability of the basic needs”.
“Students have dedicated 2 years to clear this test, but due to the cyclone, it wouldn’t be right to conduct this test for the entire country considering the fact that it is an All India Exam based on the merit” and the letter concludes.

NEET 2019 Admit Card Release Date

Important guidelines for NEET 2019 Examination Day
- The exam center will be opened 2½ hours before starting the examination. So, candidates must reach into the examination center on time.
- After 9:30 AM, no candidates will be allowed to enter the exam center.
- Candidates must reach the exam venue with downloaded admit card & passport size photograph.
- You will not be eligible to appear the exam without the Hall Ticket.
- Candidates must make sure to check for any discrepancies that might be there on the hall ticket. If there is any change that needs to be made in the Admit card, candidates must contact the concerned authorities immediately. After all the details have been checked, candidates can take a print of the admit card and preserve it for and after the examination.
- A candidate is required to preserve the NEET 2019 Admit Card till the admission procedure is over as it has to be handed over to the Admission Officer at the time of counselling or admission.
- The candidates would not be allowed to enter the exam hall after the commencement of the test and to leave the hall before the exam ends.
- Any requests related to the issuance of duplicate admit card will not be entertained under any circumstances.
- The NEET 2019 Hall Ticket / Admit Card has to be presented to the invigilator for verification and the candidate’s identity will be verified in respect of his or her details on the admit card and centre verification record. If the identity is found doubtful, the candidate may not be allowed to appear in the examination.
- Candidates must reach the examination center 30 minutes before the exam time mentioned on the NEET 2019 Admit Card.
