Calculation of TNEA Cut Off 2025
The authority releases the cut-off of TNEA 2025 that is based on the class 12th score of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The weightage for Mathematics is 50% while the combined weightage of Physics and Chemistry is 50% i.e 25% for each of the two subjects. The formula which will be used by Anna University to calculate the TNEA 2025 Cut-off is given below:

TNEA Merit List 2025
The University releases a TNEA Merit List 2025. The list is prepared on the basis of the score obtained in class 12th. The marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be reduced to 200. If 2 or more applicant scores the same marks then an inter-se merit list will be released. This list will be determined in the following order:
- Percentage of marks in Mathematics
- The Percentage of marks in Physics
- Percentage of marks in an Optional subject
- Preference is given to older age candidate
- If the tie still exists, then a random number will be assigned to the applicant.

TNEA Counselling 2025
According to the Merit list prepared by Anna University, aspirants need to attend the TNEA Counselling 2025. The counselling comprises five rounds. Applicants are grouped as per the rank they have obtained. Applicants need to log in to the official portal by entering their respective email id and password for attending the counselling process of TNEA 2025. Now the candidate has to participate in the choice filling. For this, aspirants must fill a number of choices in priority order which will increase their chances of admission. For participating in choice filling candidates need to pay fees. The amount that needs to be paid by different categories is tabulated below. After choices have been filled, applicants need to lock them. In case the candidate fails to lock, then the authority will lock them automatically.
