TISS Mumbai Cutoff 2025, 2025, 2020, 2019
The TISSNET cutoff is the minimum qualifying score that is required to qualify in the admission process. Hence, applicants who score the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to attend the counselling. The cutoff is released along with the result in March 2025.
- The cutoff for General and OBC IS 45%.
- Whereas, the cutoff for ST, SC is is 35%.

TISSNET 2025 Selection Procedure
TISS Mumbai conducts counselling every year to offer admission to various campus. The counselling process takes place online. However, the varsity has cancelled the pre-interview rounds. Thus, the interviews will now take place online. So, the stages of the TISSNET Counselling includes the following stages-
- Shortlisting of the candidates

Stage -I Shortlisting of the candidates
Soon after the release of the results, the university releases a merit list along with the cutoff. Hence, the candidates will be shortlisted based on the cutoff scores across different course programmes, and the availability of the seats. So, to check to download the TISSNET MBA Scorecard, the applicants have to provide their user id and password. Hence, the candidates whose name is on the merit list are eligible to attend the online personal interview round.
Stage-II Personal Interview
Since last year, the authority is conducting the personal interview online due to COVID-19. The schedule will be uploaded on the website for the students. The campuses conduct the admission as per the schedule. Thus, in this stage, the skills, and knowledge about the programme are observed. Also, their academic details and certificates are checked thoroughly.
Stage-III Final Scores
The authority has revised the final scoring procedures for all the course programmes. Hence, the score aggregation is as follows-

Preparation of the Waiting Lists of TISS Mumbai, Hyderabad
The waiting list of the TISSNET 2025 Counselling is prepared in the following ways-
- The waiting list is released online on its official website.
- It is released soon after the release of the first merit list for admission.
- Candidates who have been allotted seats in the programmes of their second preference will be eligible to appear on the waiting list of the first preference. However, the candidates who are allotted a seat in a programme of their third preference will be retained in the waiting list of their first and second preference.
- Applicants who have got admissions based on their first preference will not be eligible for the waiting list.
Candidates who have been allotted a seat in a programme which was their last preference will be retained in the waiting list of a preference higher in the order, till the seats in that programme are filled.
- If a candidate has already taken admission in the programme as per the first merit list is offered the higher preference when the waiting list is released. The candidate is moved into the programme of higher preference and is informed about the same.
- If in case, a candidate qualifies for two programmes at the same time, when the waiting list is released, the higher preference is considered. The admitting Institute offers admission only to the higher preference.
TISSNET, TISSMAT Seat Allotment Procedure
Soon after the personal interview round, a programme-merit list is released. Hence, the merit list is prepared based on the following-
- Candidate’s aggregate score
- Course programmes are based on the candidate’s preferences.
The merit list will be released on the official website – tissedu. Thus, based on the merit list, the interview is conducted.
