TBJEE Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2024: The exam pattern of TBJEE 2024 has been released. The latest exam pattern and exam scheme are given in this article. Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) prescribes the syllabus of the TJEE Entrance Examination. The candidates who are aspiring to sit for the TJEE Exam must follow the TJEE Syllabus prescribed by the TBJEE in order to score top rank in the entrance examination. TBJEE Exam Pattern 2024

Tripura Board announces the paper pattern every year in the prospectus. So, it is advisable for the candidate to go through the same before appearing in the exam. Candidates can also check the paper pattern of TJEE in the points below.

  • TJEE 2024 will be held on a single day.
  • Shift 1 will be of physics and chemistry. Then next shifts 2, 3 will be for mathematics and biology.
  • Shift 1 will be of 90 minutes, with 45 minutes for each subject, and total 60 questions.
  • Then shift 2, 3 will each be of 45 minutes.
  • Total exam time will be 3 hours.
  • All question papers will be MCQ type. Each with 4 options, and 1 correct answer.
  • Paper will be offline, as pen and paper mode.
  • There will be 30 compulsory questions in each subject.
  • Marking scheme will be +4 for correct answers and -1 for incorrect answer. (Negative marking will be there but exact negative marking has not been announced yet).
  • Syllabus of each subject will be divided into 10 modules or units.
  • TJEE 2024 syllabus will not change. It will be same as was brought into effect in 2015.
  • There will be percentile along with rank in TJEE 2024 result.

Instructions Regarding OMR Sheet

Candidates must know the correct pattern of marking the answers and usage of the OMR sheet.  Go through the instructions below.

  • Candidates have to write the correct roll number as mentioned in the admit card, Question Booklet series, subject name, etc in the OMR sheet
  • In order to mark the answer, darken the circle
  • Candidates cannot use white fluid, blade, eraser, etc in the OMR Sheet
  • After marking once, candidates cannot change their response
  • Also, candidates who mark more than one response will not be considered for evaluation
  • Avoid any cuts in the OMR sheet
  • It is strictly forbidden to fold or damage the sheet
  • Candidates must ensure that the information in the OMR is correct and the invigilator has checked it before signing the OMR Sheet
  • The candidates have to sign in 2 places (OMR & attendance sheet)
  • Do not do any rough work on the OMR. The rough space is provided at the back of the question booklet
  • There is no re-valuation of the OMR Sheet
  • Candidates must avoid causing any disturbance in the exam hall as it will lead to the rejection of their candidature
  • The signature of the candidate must match the one that was submitted while filling the application form

TBJEE Preparation Tips 2024

Candidates need to prepare by following a good strategy. Here are a few tips and tricks to score good marks in the examination.

  • Be thorough with the syllabus and exam pattern. As per the syllabus, formulate a study plan to cover the subject-wise topics. This will help the candidates to track the progress and manage time
  • Practice TBJEE Previous year question paper, sample paper, model papers, etc to build confidence and also learn about the paper pattern in detail
  • Gather notes from various sources. Studying from one book is not enough as the exam is competitive in nature. Hence, candidates need to make sure to study from as many sources as possible
  • Leave enough time for revision. It is a key aspect of competitive exams. Studying once is not enough. Ensure to revise the topics to retain in memory.
  • Do not forget to rest and eat at regular intervals. Do not take stress or worry. It will just lead to health issues and anxiety. Instead, focus on building a positive mindset to give the exam
