How to Check NEET PG Result 2020?

The Result of NEET PG 2020 will be released on the official website of NBE. The Step by Step procedure to check the result is as follows-

  1. Visit the Official Website of the National Board of Examinations- www.nbe.edu.in.
  2. Click on the Result Link.
  3. Enter your NEET PG Roll Number and Date of Birth and Captcha Code.
  4. Click on the Login Button and Download the Result.
  5. The Score Card will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Download and Take the printout of the Result.

The Result will be available in PDF Format so that it can be easy to download. Candidates can check their qualifying status in the Result Card/Score Card.

Qualifying Marks for NEET PG Result 2020

You will have to secure qualifying marks in order to appear in the counselling round. The National Board of Examinations has set a minimum cut-off mark to select the deserving candidates. Types of NEET PG Rank List 2020

The merit list will be made available in the following format. In addition, officials will release separate merit lists for state quota and all India Quota seats. However, note that the candidates belonging to Jammu & Kashmir will not be eligible for the All India Quota Seats. The other important details regarding these NEET PG Rank List is as follows:

All India Rank List (AIQ)

The All India Rank is the overall merit position of the candidates who have appeared for the NEET PG Exam 2020. This Rank represents the overall merit position of the candidate amongst all the candidates who will appear in the exam. This rank will allow getting admissions to AIQ Seats. This rank will be the overall merit position of the candidates who belong to a particular category (SC/ST/OBC). These candidates will be eligible for All India (50%) Category Quota. Candidates who qualify NEET PG 2020, those candidates will be eligible for 50% AIQ Merit List. This Merit List will contain both AIQ Merit List and Category Rank.

Overall Merit List

The NEET PG Overall Merit List will combine the All India Rank (AIR) of all the candidates. The Merit List will contain the names of those candidates who have appeared for the NEET PG Entrance Examination 2020.

NEET PG Result 2020 Tie-Breaking Criteria

If more than two candidates score the same number of marks then the tie-breaking criteria are used. The Tie-Breaking Method is used to assign ranks based on some criteria. Thus, the criteria based on which the candidates are given ranks is as follows-

  • Less Negative Response: Candidates with fewer negative responses will get a higher rank on the merit list. The number of wrong answers calculated will be based on all the parts – Part A, B, C.
  • Higher Marks in Part C: The Applicants securing more marks in Part C will be allotted with a higher rank.
  • Less Number of Negative Answers in Part C: Candidates with less number of negative responses in Part C will be ranked higher on the Merit List of NEET PG 2020.
  • Higher Marks in Part B: Candidates who score more marks in Part B section of the examination paper will be given a higher rank.
  • Less Negative Responses in Part B: Candidates with less number of wrong answers in Part B section will get a higher rank on the merit list.
  • Higher Marks in Part A: If after above all conditions, the tie still exists then the candidates securing higher marks in Part A will be allotted a higher rank.
  • Less Incorrect Response in Part A: Candidates with less number of wrong answers in Part A will be given a higher rank.
  • Age Priority: If still, the tie exists, then the candidates having more age will be considered and will be given a higher rank.
