MHT CET 1st Round Seat Allotment Result 2020
There will be 3 rounds for the seat allotment of MHT CET 2020 which will be taken into account in an online mode through the Centralized Allotment Process. The MHT CET Seat Allotment process is based on the rank secured by the candidates in the MHT CET examination. Other factors that play a role in the allotment of the seats are: availability of the seats in the institution as per the courses and choices preferred by the candidates, category of the students. Thus seats are allotted to candidates on the basis of availability and preferred.
Steps To Follow After MHT CET Seat Allotment 2020 Result
There are various steps that the candidates have to follow in order to have MHT CET 2020 admission to the institutions of Maharashtra. Steps after the seat allotment process are:
Step 1: Reporting at MHT CET Admission Reporting Centre (ARC)
The selected and allotted candidates have to download the MHT CET seat allotment letter by login into the candidate portal by entering the application id and date of birth. MHT CET Seat allotment letter comprises information about the allotted institute. Candidates must download the MHT CET seat allotment letter and report to the nearest Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) to confirm their seats in the respective institutes. However, while visiting ARC, candidates will be given the choice of option for further rounds of MHT CET seat allotment. Therefore candidates who will be allotted the seat will have to select whether they wish to freeze, float or slide their allotted seats.

Freeze | The candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and does not want to take part in further round in counselling |
Slide | A candidate who wishes to accepts the allotted course offered to them but at the same time open for up-gradation to the higher preferred course in the same institute must select the option “Slide”. The candidate will be considered for the next round and if a candidate gets the higher course his/her previous allotted seat with respect to the course will be canceled |
Float | The candidate has been allotted with the course but they want to apply for the higher course in other institutions will have to select the option “Float”. The candidate will be considered for that round that he/she preferring for. If the same candidate is allotted for the higher course seat then his/her previous allotted will be canceled |
Step 2: Eligible Students For MHT CET CAP Round II & Round III
- The qualified students who are not allotted seats in the CAP Round 1 for engineering 2020 or the next round.
- Candidates who did not report to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) and rejects their allotted seats.
- The candidates who cancel their MHT CET admission after the acceptance in the previous rounds.
- The candidates who choose the Freeze option in the previous rounds but wish to change it to Float or Slide will also be eligible for the following rounds.
Step 3: Reporting to Allotted Institute
The selected students have to report to the allotted institute. While reporting to the institutes’ candidates must make sure that they have the original documents with them. They must also carry the MHT CET Seat Allotment Letter 2020 along with them.
