        • Hi, if you are applying through the agriculturist quota, then it is compulsory for you to take the practical exam. If you are applying to the agriculture courses without any quota, you need not take any practical test.
Now, you have already applied for the practical test. There are two options:
          1. You take the practical exam if you have the documents related to the agriculturist quota and you get a seat.
          2. You take the practical exam but you are not eligible for agriculturist quota, you will not get a seat under this quota.
          3. You do not take the practical exam at all and you get a seat under general category.

In case you are fit to apply for KCET, then you should know that candidate is usually required to upload class 12th Mark sheet no matter what the marking scheme in your board is.

  5. As I have attending the kcet examination 2nd Time what are the required forms for that and mention that I should clear one subject this which was not passed last year… Please guide me through this

    • Hi, A candidate who passes in all the subjects in the qualifying examination and later withdraws one or more subject for reappearing in the qualifying examination for improving his performance will also not be considered for allotment of seats in the regular round and will be treated as a supplementary
      candidate.

  8. Hi, i would like to know if the student is an OCI card holder, who have studied here in Karnataka Bangaluru for the past 14 years can appear for CET. Whose parents are indian citizens. Plz do the needful. Thank you

    • The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) in the year 2018, did now allow candidates who were PIO or OCI cardholders to take the CET 2018. This may be the case for the year 2019 as well as the criteria clearly states that the candidate must be an Indian citizen even if his/her parents have been residing in Karnataka state.

Looking at your case where you fulfill the eligibility criteria of studying for at least 7 years in the state itself, you are eligible to apply for KCET 2019. However, we suggest you contact the KEA regarding the same on Phone : 080 – 23460460 or email at [email protected]

    • You are not eligible to take the KCET 2019 as the criteria states that the candidate should have studied for at least 7 academic years in the state of Karnataka.
