Through HPU Counselling 2025, candidates can get admissions into colleges that are under Himachal Pradesh University in BAMS and BHMS Course. Moreover, the Counselling Registration window opens for a limited time. Candidates have to register and lock their choices within the given time frame. The HPU AYUSH NEET Counselling takes place online on the official website of HPU. There are one to two rounds of counselling on the basis of the HPU BAMS Merit List 2025 Rank. Types Of HPU BAMS Counselling 2025
There are a total of three rounds of HPU BAMS Counselling 2025. In addition, the round of counselling takes place on the official website (www.hpushimla.in). The types of counselling rounds are as follows-

Each Round of HPU BAMS Counselling Admission takes place on the basis of the Rank of the candidate. The top rankers of the merit list can take part in the First Round of Counselling. In the second round of counselling, the next set of the Merit List Rankers are called out for the counselling. Candidates who do not get any seat at the time of the First Round of Counseling are also eligible for the second round of counselling. If any seats remain vacant, then the University conducts an Open Round of Counselling.
How does the HPU BAMS Counselling 2025 take place?
Once, the Merit List of HPU is declared, for BAMS and BHMS, the counselling process takes place. On the merit list, the date and time of the counselling are mentioned. Only those candidates can appear for HPU AYUSH Counselling, whose names have been shortlisted on the merit list. The Link to apply for counselling is however activated for a limited time at the university website.
So, if your name is present on the merit list, that means that you are eligible for the HPU Counselling round. In the counselling round, candidates have to make choices of the colleges and courses. On the basis of the availability of the courses, candidates are allotted seats for the courses.

How to Apply for HPU BAMS Counselling 2025?
The Step by Step Procedure to check HPU AYUSH BAMS/ BHMS Counselling 2025 is as follows-
Registration
- In the registration process, candidates have to visit the official website of HPU and click on the counselling link.
- After clicking on the link, you are redirected to a new page. If you are a new user, then click on the “New User Registration”.
- In the registration process, enter all the basic details such as the Name, NEET Roll Number, Date of Birth, etc. After submitting all the details, click on the submit option.
Making the Payment of the Counselling Fees
- After entering all the details. make the payment of the counselling fees online through Internet Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.
- After successful registration, you shall receive a new registration Id and password. Keep the Registration ID and Password safe until the completion of the Admission Process.
Choice Filling and Locking
In the Choice Filling and Locking process, you have to enter the choices of the colleges and courses as per your choices. The list of the colleges and the courses along with the availability of the seats shall be available on the screen. Hence, on the basis of the details, displayed, select the choices. This has to be done before the last date of the counselling process.
Seat Allotment Result
On the basis of the HPU NEET Merit List 2025, the seats are allotted to the candidates. For the seat allotment process, the examination authority scans all the details along with the scores and ranks of the candidates. Thus, on the basis of the availability of the seats and candidates’ ranks/ scores, the conducting body shall reserve the seat.
The Seat Allotment Result of Shimla BHMS and BAMS comprise the date and time of the counselling session which is the document verification. The candidates also receive their seat allotment letter on their registered e-mail id. Download and take the printout of the allotment list.

Document Verification
After receiving the Seat Allotment Letter of HPU 2025, the applicants have to report to the allotted college for document verification. This is the last stage of the admission process. The document verification process is done offline, candidates have to be physically present for completing the Document Verification Round. In this process, your documents are verified and checked properly.

Candidates must carry a set of the Original Copy as well as a set of Photocopy of the Documents and Certificates. Candidates who fail to bring any of the following documents shall not be eligible for the further admission process.
