Gujarat GNM Counselling 2025: The Commissioner of Health & Medical Education, Govt. of Gujarat is responsible for conducting the round of counselling. GNM Nursing Selection Process 2025
- The authorities carry out the selection procedure on the basis of merit.
- A merit list is prepared, wherein applicants are ranked in order of merit as per their performance in the HSC Exam.
- Further, the merit list candidates’ are eligible for admission in the offered course. These students then have to take part in the counselling round. In addition, the seat allotment process is carried out on the same day.
Gujarat GNM Nursing Eligibility Criteria
It is important that the candidates satisfy the eligibility criteria. Moreover, the eligibility criteria is set by the admission committee for GNM Institutes, Govt. of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. Note that the candidates’ who do not satisfy the criteria are not eligible for admission. Further, the authorities have the right to reject the applications of ineligible candidates’. - The applicants who have cleared the HSC Exam from a recognized board or university are eligible. In addition, the candidate should have passed with 40% marks and English as a mandatory subject.
- Moreover, applicants who have cleared the exam in vocational auxiliaries horse’s midwife course are also eligible. The course, however, should have been revised after 2001 and recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
- Further, the candidate should have undergone a 6-month long internship.
Reservation Of Seats
The below -given seat matrix is for the reserved category applicants. Moreover, seats are also reserved for applicants who belong to Gujarat. The authorities have also reserved seats for an applicant who is either a widow or an orphan girl. However, the candidates who are claiming reserved seats have to produce the required documents. The candidates claiming reserved seats have to present the required documents. Gujarat GNM/ANM Nursing Personal Interview Round
A special selection committee is appointed for the interview round. The personal interview round is basically conducted to check whether merit list students are suitable for the course or not. Thus, do prepare for this round and make sure that you reach the venue on time. In addition, the details of the interview round are published on the official website after the release of the merit list. The officials with allot seats to candidates’ on the basis of their performance in the interview round. Furthermore, applicants, are called for Gujarat Nursing Counselling in order of merit.
GNM Nursing Seat Allotment 2025
The selection committee allots seats in order of merit. Further, they consider the choice form filled by the candidate. Then considering the no. of seats available and the rank of candidate, the seat is allotted. The candidate then has to report to the allotted nursing institute. Moreover, if the student does not report on the prescribed date, then the officials have the right to cancel the admission of such a candidate.
Gujarat Nursing 2025 Mop-Up Round
The mop-up round is conducted in case some of the seats are left vacant even after the second round of counselling. This round is conducted only for Govt. GNM/ ANM Institutes. However, this round takes place in offline mode. Candidates’ have to appear at the centre along with the required documents.
