Cluster University of Jammu Admission 2024 will start soon. The University has released the counseling schedule and rank list of the candidates. However, CU Srinagar has released the answer key and selection list for the admission. The admission takes place based on CAET. Applicants can check and download the details below. The university offers admission into various UG, PG, Diploma Courses. However, to get admission into these courses, the students have to appear in an Entrance Exam called CLUJET 2024. The CLUJET is conducted by CU Jammu. The university also offers admission based on qualifying marks.

Cluster University Jammu/Srinagar Admission – CLUJET and CAET Exam Dates

Admission to Cluster University will be purely on the basis of the CLUJET. The dates of the admission process have not been released yet. However, we have provided the tentative dates of the semester exam is available below.

Modified Exam Pattern of End Semester Exam (UG Courses)

The Modified Exam Pattern for the Major/Minor Exams of all the semester programs (UG, UG (Hons), Integrated Programs.

Section “A” comprises short question answers. Questions will be asked from Unit-I only.
There will be eight questions in section “B” consisting of two questions from each of the remaining units.
Section “A” is mandatory. Minor Tests will not be conducted. The marks will be awarded proportionately on the basis of the marks obtained in the Major/End Sem Exam.

Cluster University PG Semester Exam Pattern

Short Question Answer will be asked from Unit-I and II.
There will be six questions from Section-“B” consisting of two questions from each of the remaining units.
Question 1 of Section “A” is mandatory and from the “B” section. you will have to attempt any three questions.
The Minor Test-I will be a home assignment that will be sent to the students. The marks will be updated before the end semester exam.
Minor Tests will not be conducted. The marks will be awarded proportionately on the basis of the marks obtained in the Major/End Sem Exam.

Cluster University Admission 2024- Eligibility Criteria

To appear in the CLUJET Online Admission Test. Candidates have to satisfy the eligibility conditions. If any candidate does not come under the Cluster University Eligibility Criteria, then he/she will not be eligible for the admission process. However, the eligibility criteria vary from course to course. Check the CU Admission Eligibility Condition for UG and PG Courses.

The University has adopted the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for Master’s, Honors, and Integrated Degree Programs.

The Cluster University of Kashmir, PG Course Eligibility

English (M.A)	candidates must have passed or appeared B.A English The second preference will be given to the candidate who has passed the qualifying exam with the English Literature as a main elective or additional elective. The minimum qualifying marks is 60%
M.A Music (Vocal and Instrumental)	The candidate must have passed or appeared a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. Otherwise, the candidate with Music elective at Undergraduate Level or Hons. are also eligible.
MSc Food Science and Technology	The candidate must have passed or appeared a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology. Or with an elective subject (Food Science and Quality Control) or BSc in Home Science or BSc Medical Stream.
MSc Geology	Must have passed or appeared in BSc (Hons)/BSc Examination with Geology as one of the elective subjects.
M.A/M.Sc in Mathematics	The candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of BSc (Hons) or B.A/BSc Exam with Maths, as one of the elective subjects.
MSc Textile and Apparel Science	Must have passed BSc Home Science. Candidate with Home science as one of the subjects in B.A is also eligible.
M.Com	The candidate must have passed or appeared B.Com (Hons) or B.Com (General) under 10+2+3 pattern. 10% of the total number of seats is available for the students who have passed /appeared in B.A/B.Sc/BBA or BCA from any recognized university. The minimum qualifying marks is 60%.
M.Ed	The candidate must have passed B.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks.

Cluster University of Jammu- UG Course Eligibility Criteria

BSc Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, and English (Hons)	Candidates must have passed or appeared in the Higher Secondary Part-II Exam (10+2) of the J&K State Board of School Education. Must have the respective subject. Candidates must have scored a minimum mark of 50% marks and 45% for the reserved category.
B.A English (Hons)	The candidate must have passed or appeared 10+2 from the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Education. Minimum Qualifying Marks is 50% for unreserved and 45% for Reserved Category.
B.Com (Hons)	Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Part-II (10+2) from the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Education. Minimum Qualifying Marks is 50% for unreserved and 45% for Reserved Category. In the case of the candidates who did not pass the Higher Secondary Part-II Exam in Commerce Stream are also eligible against 25% of the total seats. Minimum Qualifying Marks is 60% and 55%.

Integrated Geology Hons. (BSc Hons +MSc Hons)	Candidates must have passed /appeared in the Higher Secondary Part-II Exam from the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Education. The minimum qualifying marks are 50% and 45% respectively.
Integrated Mathematics (Hons)/Physics (Hons)/Family and Community Science/English (Hons)/M.Com (Hons)/Botany (Hons)/Zoology (Hons)/Linguistic and Literature Hons/History (Hons)	Candidates must have passed /appeared in the Higher Secondary Part-II Exam from Jammu and Kashmir Board of Education. Cluster University of Srinagar Application Form

CLUJET Jammu Application Form 2024 releases in the month of April/May 2024. The admission form will be available online on its official website. So, candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria can fill in the form and submit it before the deadline date.

The mode of the Cluster University of Jammu Admission Form is online only. Also, the fee amount is non-refundable. The cost of the application form is Rs 750/- for General Category students and Rs 650/- for the reserved category students. An additional fee of Rs 300/- is charged for the self-financing programs.

Cluster University Time Table 2024 – (Semester-Wise)

The University releases the time table for the whole academic year. It conducts the exam semester-wise for all the course programs. The Cluster University Semester Exam has to be taken by those candidates who are already studying in the university. However, to appear in the Cluster Semester Exam, it is mandatory to fill the Cluster University Exam Form.

The University conducts both the Odd and Even Semester Exam. The Exam Time Table of Cluster University, Jammu releases a month before the date of the exam. The date sheet comprises the date and time of the exam.

Cluster University Admit Card

The CLUJET Exam Admit Card will release a week before the exam. Candidates who are appearing for the exam can download the Hall Ticket from the website. The Cluster University Exam Admit Card will contain the details of the exam and the candidate. To download the admit card, the applicant has to submit their Registration Number and Password.

The hall ticket is a mandatory document that the candidate has to carry to the exam. You will not be eligible to appear in the exam without the hall ticket. Therefore, make sure that you download the admit card.

CLUJET 2024 Exam Pattern

The Cluster University conducts CLUJET for the admission process. So, to get admission in UG and PG Courses, candidates have to qualify for the entrance test.

The Cluster University CLUJET Exam Pattern is as follows-

The CLUJET Question Paper comprise of 150 MCQs.
The time duration of the exam is of 2.5 Hours
Each correct answer carries 1 mark. However, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

Cluster University Syllabus – Semester and Exam

The University has provided Semester-Wise as well as a program wise syllabus. Candidates can prepare for the exam on the basis of the Cluster University Syllabus. Whereas, the CLUJET Exam will comprise of the General Knowledge, numerical aptitude, reasoning questions of Class 10th and 12th.

Cluster University Admission – Exam Centers

The exam centres are located at any college or university in Jammu City only. The details of the CLUJET Exam Centres are available on the admit card. The candidate has to reach the test centre an hour before the exam.

The University uploads the Answer key of the Jammu CLUJET Exam within 2 to 3 days of the exam. The answer key will be available online. So, candidates who have appeared the exam can check the Cluster University Solution Key PDF. The Answer Key will carry all the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam.

However, if there is any discrepancy in the answer key, then the students can register a complaint. If the University finds any error in their answer key, then a revised CLUJET 2020 answer key pdf will be published within 2 to 3 days.

Cluster University of Jammu Admission 2024 – Merit List

The Cluster University Merit-Based Admission takes place soon after the release of the answer key. Candidates who qualify for the CLUJET or CAET 2024 will have their names on the Merit List of Cluster University. A common merit list is prepared for the candidates on the basis of the marks scored in the exam and performance in class 10th and 12th exams. Later, the shortlisted candidates will have to attend further counselling programs. The Cluster University Admission Merit List will release online only.

Cluster University of Jammu Exam Result

The University releases the Result for the admission process in the form of a merit list. Whereas, for the semester exam, the university will release the result soon after the completion of the exam. The Cluster University Result will be available for each program course. So, to check the result, the applicant has to provide their Roll Number and Password.

Cluster University Admission/ Selection Process 2024

The selection of the candidates will take place on the basis of the combined marks obtained in Academic Merit and Marks obtained in the Entrance Exam. The percentile of each merit is calculated in the following way-

Academic Merit of the Qualifying Examination- 70% and
CLUJET 2020 Entrance Test- 30%

Hence, the Cluster University Admission Process will take place on the basis of the above two factors.

CLUJET Counselling and Document Verification

The Cluster University Counselling is the last and final stage of the admission process. Now, the shortlisted candidate has to attend the counselling on the specific date and time mentioned by the University.
