Christ University CUET Eligibility Criteria 2024

It is very important to satisfy the eligibility criteria for Christ University Entrance Test. If you do not satisfy the eligibility criteria, then he/she will not be eligible for the Christ University Admission Process. However, the criteria vary from course to course.

BBA, BBA (Hons), B.Com, BA-CEP, BHM Courses

• Candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognized board/university.
• Candidates who are in class 12th or are awaiting the 12th results are also eligible.

B.A LLB (Hons)

• The student must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized university.
• Candidates pursuing an international curriculum must have AIU Approval with not less than “Grade C”.
• Candidates, age must be below 20 years as of July 2020.
• Applicants who are in class 12th or are awaiting the 12th results are also eligible.

LLM Course Program

• Candidates must have passed LLB from a recognized university in India or Abroad.
• Candidates who are in the final year are also eligible for the Christ University Admission Process.
• The minimum qualifying marks is 50% for all the semesters.

Christ University Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Students

International Students coming from Non-English Speaking Countries should produce the following documents –

• Produce evidence of passing in an English Medium or
• Must have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (computer) of 213 or TOEFL (IBT) of 79 scores.

Candidates without the above pre-qualifications will have to enrol either for-

• Intensive Certificate Course in the English Language (Full Time) that takes place between March to May.
• One Semester Certificate course in the English language (Part-Time) conducted after regular class hours from June to December.

Christ University Bangalore Admission/Selection Process

The CUET 2024 Admission Process comprises of Application Form, Entrance Exam, Skills Test, Micro Presentation, and Personal Interview. However, the selection process varies from course to course.

Selection Process of UG courses through entrance test

• Online Entrance Test
• Micro-Presentation and Personal Interview. In Micro-Presentation, the candidate has to talk for 90 seconds on a given topic by the panel followed by a personal interview (10 minutes).

BA TEP

• Candidates must prepare a monologue in English using the script from any published play. It should be a video recorded (2-3 Minutes) and sent to [email protected]. 5 days before the Interview. The candidates can perform the same during the admission interview if the panel asks for it as part of spot improvisation. The candidate should have an appreciation at Western Theatre.

BA MPE

The candidate is to record a video of themselves performing contrasting two pieces according to the following guidelines:

• Candidates are to perform a minimum of two pieces of western traditional art music.
• Applicants are to state the sentence “This recording is for my 2024 audition to BA-MPE at christ university. I will be performing [introduce your piece name and composer]”
• If two separate recordings are made, this introductory sentence is to be repeated at the beginning of the second recording.
• These pieces must be contrasting in styles (to display both technical and emotional abilities).
• An individual piece is to be roughly 3-5 minutes in length as a minimum. No repeats within a piece are necessary.
• The camera should be pointed in a way to show the performer (and piano keyboard if applying) clearly.
• Ensure that the audio quality is sufficiently audible and that your audition is recorded in one take.
• Please note that audition videos will be accepted for voice or piano only.
• Posture and technique will be considered when watching your video.
• It is mandatory for the video to be sent before your interview, otherwise, your interview will be forfeited.

Once recorded, the candidate is to upload their video to either Google Drive or YouTube with access and/or external viewing enabled so faculty can watch the recording. The candidate is to email a link to their recorded video to  [email protected] by at least one day before the date of their interview.
